SACRED LOVE : 49 2/2 [3]  PRESENT  Zal POV A dry gulp that broke the dead silence. I know she must have been thinking I was crazy by now. It’s already been days and she is still ghosting me and I couldn’t even shower for hours like I always do. What the fxck even is this little ass problem? As the thought entered my mind from nowhere, my heart seemed to jump out of my rib cage and drop down in its place—which was obviously inside my chest. Biting my lip, I facepalmed myself as I leaned my head against the closed door. Despite the fact I was hiding inside the wooden wardrobe that had been abandoned for weeks, my legs were stuck and I possibly could even die out of comfort by the time she walked in. Cussing under my breath, I sneezed before banging my head against the door, which was done by my unconscious mind. Tearing up as my head started to sting, soon hiccups escaped my lips. As I sighed, another hiccup made me grit my teeth in annoyance, but then, the large and giant door slide opened and echoed. Blinking, my eyes widened as I realized she was already here. I tried to open the already creaking door of this fxcking door but it seemed like this moth- “This is what you had to do.”  Isn’t my lovely mother’s voice?  My eyes squinted as a small whimper left her lips because of the heavy book she dropped in her hands. Holding it against her chest, she looked very pretty. Damn, how long has it been since I admired you from afar? A breathy smile, my head tilted as I peeked at her. Her eyes seemed to nervously check around, which made me look at myself. “Did she notice?” I whispered under my breath as I noticed her eyes drifting towards me. Sweat started to drip down my hair as I gulped when her eyes dropped on the wooden wardrobe I was fxcking in. God, why did she look so cute all of a sudden? Almost screaming in my mind, I whined when she gaped at the wardrobe. I must have been going mad because her eyes seemed to meet mine before they widened. The book she held seemed to be getting heavier when mom placed another one on top. Stumbling back, her cheeks turned pink, making me suppress my laugh. “Here’s everything you need and if you think anything is missing, let Ms. Cloite knows because she is helpful. Okay?” she reassured once again as Cia nodded with a nervous smile leaving her lips. “Y-Yes, M-M-” Mom sighed as she patted her back before cutting her soft stutters off. “And, like I said, stop pulling Zal into this. . ” A frown had formed on my face and my head tilted in utter cofusion. What!? I could not believe it was mom who was preventing her from talking to me. A heavy sigh left my lips as I looked away. As soon as the doors were closed, she dropped the books upon the counter before a small whimper echoed in the empty halls of the main kitchen. They call this a main kitchen where the famous chefs make delicious food that can satisfy all the guests but…. A sigh, my leg started to have cramps and that’s when my eyes widened in pain and a groan left my lips as I felt myself falling out of the wooden box along with the doors breaking apart. “A-Ah, f-fx-”  My eyes met her teary ones as she stood straight. Gulping, I noticed how her eyes went up and down while I was lying on the floor. “Y..Y-You-” she breathed out deep while she turned her head away with tears falling down her cheeks. “Cia, i-” She kept her hand in front as if she didn't want to talk before walking away, making me follow her with my stumbling feet. As I tried to follow her fast, she wiped away her cheeks harshly before my hand held her elbow and I yanked her unconsciously, making her yelp. “I-I’m sorry”, I mumbled as I examined her face, which held no expression that could express that I was harsh. As a frown formed on my face, my body dropped on the floor, herself being pulled. My eyes closing, I whimpered, feeling the nerves in my neck pop out. Eyes widening, I kept my fingers against the nerves that were popping out before looking up at her who sat there, looking at my body in worry. “Z-Zal! A-A-Are you o-okay!” she exclaimed as I sighed. “D-Don't worry, It’s just a leg cramp”, I mumbled, while my hand suddenly laid on hers which was holding my arm tightly. My eyes slowly shooing away the frown as I realized it. Oh god, her cleavage! Before I could even glance at the sight of her cleavage I caught from the corner of my eye, I turned my head away. Biting my lip, I heard her hiccups as she tugged on my shirt sleeves. “H-Hey, W-w-wwhat’s-” my cheeks must have turned red like a bright tomato because I could feel the heat radiating from my face as my ears were about to blast when an exclamation left my lips before I could stop it. “P-please D-Don’t! Your shirt is l-lo..loose” Her eyes blinked and the tears seemed to fade away as she sniffed before looking down at her shirt. Closing my eyes, I mentally killed myself the second she turned away in a swift movement.  Time slowly passed by as I sat on the chair while she still avoided my face. I sighed deeply before glancing up at her back that was facing me. God, her little fingers fidgeting on her lap is making me go madder than ever. Clearing my throat since I felt cough pausing mid way, her eyes seemed to glance and my cheeks turned red the second I noticed how her ears turned warmful red. Cough escaped my lips as I choked on the air I breathed before I took the jug of water. Pouring the water into a glass, I gulped all at the moment as she turned around. Glancing up unconsciously, my eyes met hers as her body flinched within myself choking in the water. She stood up as I kept my hand in front just so she wouldn't get any closer. Zal, You fxcking silly head! I held my head as my nose started to heat up before I groaned quietly. “I-I’m o-okay- A-Achoo!.” eyes wide, I looked nowhere before I felt my breath normal like before. Sighing deep, I wiped away my eyes. Clearing my throat, I glanced at her and it seemed like the pretty thing was still staring at me. A nervous giggle, I turned away. Why the heck is she staring at me like that? God, I'm so embarrassed! Whining inside my mind, I soon heard a son from her side, making me turn towards her in an instant. Scratching my head, I panicked as she wiped away her cheeks harshly once again. This little thing- Why not use tissues!? Those cute cheeks- I bit my lip as I tried to control my anger before I heard a hiccup that started to worry me like hell.  “H-Hey, what’s wrong? I-I’m sorry if you-” “W-Why are y-you h-here?” I looked up at her before my eyes lost all the hope I had. “I.. I didn’t mean to… scar-” I trailed off but then she cut me off with her cute stutters that got my heart jump inside my chest. I could feel my stomach grumble with butterflies when I heard what she said. “I-I d-d-dont want t-t- h-hurt y-y-you” she competed as a big exhale left my lips and my chest dropped in relief. “Wait, so you were not avoiding me because…” I frowned as she looked at me hesitantly. “I’m.. ahem nevermind.” I looked away as the way she looked at me made me blush all of a sudden. She looked down as she fidgeted with her small fingertips. Gulping, I mentally slapped myself when my eyes dropped on her chest. “Y..Y-Your mom… a-actually..” she tried to explain as she pointed behind, but then, her voice trailed off before she looked down with a heavy sigh leaving her lips. I bit my lip as I noticed her tired self. “Are you hungry?” words left my lips before I could even process and she gulped down the lump and her soft lips parted. Looking up, she slightly shook her head.  I don't care if she even slaps me, but those lips must close or I don't know what I might do.
