Zoe’s POV
It’s been a really bumpy week and I needed to catch a break. I met the kitchen staff in the packhouse and a few other pack members but things always seemed to go wrong for me. Someone always had something to say under their breath or just looked at me in some way that I felt I needed to defend myself. Alex did reprimand the Omegas that had snide comments. Said that they needed to show respect for their Luna. The only problem is, I’m not their Luna yet. He still needs to claim me, but will they respect that?
The only pack members that hadn’t judged me and made things difficult for me were the orphans. Why had everyone prejudged me? I didn’t feel it was right or fair by any means. Not just towards me but towards Alex also. The pack didn’t think of their Alpha when he though
