Alex’s POV
After about a week the pack found out that my mate was in the cells. At first, everyone judged me for cruelty towards her, thinking and saying that I was unworthy of a mate at all. That is until one of the kitchen Omegas went down to the cells and saw her. Apparently, Zoe scared her so badly that the Omega pissed herself and fled the cells screaming in terror. That was an interesting mess to clean up; not just in the cells but also with my pack members.
That information spread like wildfire around the pack which didn’t help me in the slightest with what I wanted to happen. Everyone said I was insane for keeping her down there. Several of the members suggested I reject her and let her run off to be the wild rogue she is.
That was an option, but not one I was going
