Chapter 5: The prince arrival in the crystal dungeon

Children playing and people busy with their work. Nobles riding their luxurious carriage and rich people going on shopping. This is the usual seen in the capital city. The capital city of the kingdom is called Grandellia. In the center of this massive city is the kingdom of Grandellia and lived by the Royal blood.
Inside the big castle. The king is seating in the huge seat with the queen beside him and carefully listening to the words of the vice-captain of the squad who failed to capture the crystal dragon dungeon.
“Captain Retto’s arrogance eats him and he meets his death. The dragon we saw is just the Ice salamander and looking at the map. The dungeon is going way deeper. Putting us in conclusion, that The Crystal dragon is mightier than that dragon who nearly wipe out or squad.”
Said Dust while his one knee on the floor.
A piece of Retto’s armor is presented as evidence of Retto’s death. The king seems to acknowledge the words of Dust and closed his eyes. Accepting one of his great knight's death. The king then makes a sigh and said.
“That’s a shame I do expect more from Retto, he the only peasant who is able to obtain title only the noble and royal can achieved, the truth that he lost his battle is undeniable. Seems like the sage words are true. Something inside that dungeon must be obtained by the kingdom.”
While the king and Dust are having a conversation. A man with crimson red armor opens the huge door of the castle and with his people, he enters the room.
His appearance pulled everyone's attention. He's one of the eldest sons of the king. Standing up straight with confidence. His name is Prince Alexander Lumiere.”
“Retto failed to capture the Crystal dragon dungeon. Seems like he meets his limit already. Father, your expectation failed you. Looks like you put your trust in the wrong person.”
“I’m used to expecting failures, it starts when you are born.”
“What a cruel thing to say to your own flesh and blood. I’m still your son and one of the candidates for the throne. Would you mind giving me some chance? A chance for me to prove my worth as the prince of this kingdom. Elder brothers are on their journey on their own. Freya is also on a mission. I’m the only one, you can count on in this time.”
Said Prince Alex like he was testing the king.
“You’re rude as ever, But still my son. If that’s what you wanted I will grant you the mission in capturing the Crystal Dragon Dungeon. You may have as many troops as you want. In your current self surviving that dungeon is very slim. Maybe it’s a great way to banish you in my castle.”
“Your majesty! Alexander is still our son.”
Protested by the Queen.
“Let your son know how cruel this world is. I know our son. I’m not a fool to keep a snake in my house.”
Replied the king.
Like he was talking to on something else.
Prince Alexander face was distorted and with his rage. He then turns his back to the king.
“I will capture that dungeon and make you eat your words.”
Prince Alexander exits the castle with his huge troops to raid the crystal dungeon.
After the prince leaves, the conversation between Dust and the king continues.
“Now that the sixth squad lost its captain. I think it’s time to appoint a new captain.”
“That’s something I agree on your majesty.”
Replied Dust.
Dust smiled thinking that he as the vice-captain will obtain the title of the captain.
“ In the day your squad enter the capital city. I already notice Retto’s absence and looking at the squad's expression especially Sophia. I did some preparation and already pick a new captain for the Sixth. You may enter this room now.”
“Yes, your majesty.”
He replied and introduce himself to Dust.
“My name is Belzerg Sword Nicole. I’m one of the elder sons of the house of Belzerg. I’m the one appointed to become the new captain of the sixth squad… Nice to meet you vice-captain Dust.”
Nicole offers a hand shake. Dust accept his hand and when their hands met. Nicole look to Dust with sinister eyes. Pulling Dust to tremble.

Using a area teleportation magic. All Prince Alexander troops were transported to the gate of the Crystal dungeon.
A rocky mountain with a giant door. Two dragons statue and dragon carving engrave on its walls.
Besides Prince Alexander is one of the humanities great wizards.
“Alexander are you sacred?”
‘Stop making such jokes Seigrain… There nothing I fear in this world, Since, I’m born I know that I’m the one destined to be fear… Soldier open the door!”
With the prince's order, the door was opened by a huge number of soldiers.
Leading the troop Prince Alexander first enters the dungeon riding his horse.
Looking around he said:
“This feels like an ordinary dungeon. I can’t feel any intense magic inside or far away.”
Siegrain also felt the same and look around and became cautious.
“This dungeon feels a bit off.”
“What do you mean by that Siegrain?”
“Normally in any dungeon when you enter it. A monster will appear to battle us. This Dungeon is not like that. I don’t even feel anything alive on this floor. Not even a single low-level monster is appearing.”
Said Siegrain.
All of the troops already entered the dungeon.
Suddenly a loud sound of bang was heard, looking back the door that supposes to be open a moment ago went slamming close. Darkness envelopes the whole floor. Everyone got scared and started to form an attack formation with their weapons.
“What’s happening Siegrain?”
“I don’t know, but don’t worry I already made a teleportation point outside. We can still go outside via teleportation.”
“You're not called great wizard for nothing. That’s why I trust you and let you join my troops. I’ll become the new king and I will make you as my right hand.”
“The honor is mine prince Alexander.”
“All troops light the lamps.”
Ordered the prince to counter the darkness.
The wizard cast a spell to use a magical item that is usually use similar to a lamp.
The troops started to move slower in the dungeon.
Cold sweat also started to fell from Prince Alexanders cheeks. Eve with a lamp, the dungeon is so dark sudden attack in any direction is possible.
One of the soldiers waking then git tripped and fell to the ground. A slashing sound was heard.
“This… This is…”
The soldier said with a frightened expression he is shaking.”
Prince takes a look at the soldier and notices that he is covered with blood.
Siegrain get one of the lamp and look to the path forward.
“This is insane.”
Their eyes widened with shock and stunned on what they saw.
Different monsters in different level was slain and their bodies was a bath in their own blood.
“This monster is known as Zombie Elephant, it’s an A-class monster and many of its a kind was slain. Not only that, this is Black demon viper is one of the dungeon boss in poison forest Dungeon. It’s easily killed here.”
Said Siegrain.
“Are you scared Siegrain?”
“No, to be honest, this is interesting. I’m happy if I’m able to face the thing who killed this many monsters. I’m glad I came here with you.”
Siegrain makes a sinister smile of his excitement.
“We're just on the first floor why this monster is on this floor?”
The prince was confused about what he's seeing.
“I used taunt skill to pull them up here.”
All soldier suddenly heard a voice from no where.
They all look around the area in search of the voice and 20 meters away in their front direction. A shadow of a walking human was seen.
She has two horns, red scarlet eyes, a slender body, and white porcelain skin.
“A woman.”
“This is bad, I can’t see her Status with my appraisal skill and status check. This woman might be the one responsible to this massacre.”
Prince the drew his sword from his waist and pointed it toward the woman.
“All Troops Attack!”
All out attack was called. Even with a huge number of troops that reached hundreds.
The demon woman didn’t flinch.
“Blood manipulation.”
Blood in the ground started to form like sharp spikes. This spikes then launched with speed to the prince troops from the ground making holes in their body.
“Siegrain pull yourself and fight.”
Said the Prince.
“Blood manipulation? This is a rare ability I wanted to learn it. I want to obtain it!”
Seigrain entered the battle and cast different type of magic all at once.
“Elemental Barrage!”
The magic directly connected to the demon woman. In that time Siegrain then quickly move close toward the demon woman and put his palm to the demon woman stomach.
“Elemental doom!”
An explosion of magic was activated from Seigrain’s palm. The explosion make a banging sound that echoed in the dungeon.
“I will use her dead body and get her blood manipulation ability.”
The troops was happy after seeing the magic of the great wizard.
“Expected from my right hand. Looks like there is no need to use my sword.”
Said Prince Alexander.
The smoke that is made by the explosion faded and the demon woman who catch that direct magical explosion is still standing straight to the ground without moving an inch.
Siegrains pupils go smaller in shock. Prince Alexander didn’t even think that the demon woman remained standing in the ground.
The demon woman look down to Seigrain with his hand touching the demon woman's stomach.
“Who told you to touch my body?”
She asked with terrifying aura dripping out in her body.
Blood came rushing from the ground and with the high speed, it became sharpened and stab Siegrain’s body multiple times.
Full with holes and face that can’t be described anymore, Seigrain meets his death.
“the great wizard was easily killed? That impossible.”
“Siegrain is dead.”
“This can’t be happening?”
Said the troops who started giving up and falling to the ground losing their hopes. Even the prince can’t say anything about what he saw in the battle. It didn’t even last a minute and one of his strongest soldier was killed.
The demon woman walked slowly toward the Prince Alexanders troop.
“Blood manipulation.”
The blood then fly through the air like a thin silk and she then sways her hand.
The blood silk rapidly cuts the troop's body. Increasing the death count.
The prince pulled his sword and activated a skill only the royalty can use.
“Royal Blade!”
Prince Alexander swords glow in golden yellow color and he blocked the sharp thread with his sword.
“Having a nice warm-up to stretch my body, is good. I want to battle the crystal dragon in my highest.”
Said the demon woman.
“As the prince of the kingdom, I will gladly entertain you.”
Said Prince Alexander to the demon woman.
The battle started and ended in few moments.
The demon woman remained standing high and mighty, while the proud prince is acting like a dog. Barking like a dog, rolling to the ground like a dog and standing like a dog.
“Without your fancy armor and wealth your just an unsightly creature.”
Said the demon woman.
He lost his high dignity in few moments after battle. All of his troops were slain and cut into pieces.
He who remained lost pride and feared death. Throwing everything and obey the order of the demon woman.
“This is not good at all. I’m getting bored.”
Said Demon woman and “Yawn~”
“Don’t kill me! Don’t kill me! I can do anything!”
Alexander was desperate and beg for his survival.
“I won’t kill you.”
She replied.
Prince Alexander smiled reached his ears after hearing her words.
“Thank you! Thank you so much.”
“I’m not going to kill you, they are.”
The demon woman leaves.
Looking around Alexander, Alexander heard small hops. He saw a small furball rolled and then revealed it’s long ears.
“A rabbit? Why is there a Rabbit here? It’s a rabbit right?”
Trying to confirm it. Alexander tries to touch it.

The next moment, His entire left hand was detached from his wrist upwards.
The pain is out of dimension trashed to Alexanders brain. Currently suffering in agony. His body fell to the ground. He then turns his eyes to the rabbit and then lost his both legs. And his wrist is was in rabbits belly. There was nothing he could do, but to struggle in his waiting death.
Little hops, small and tiny body. The chain of overlapping chirps. His vision can still see them but counting them is impossible. Continuously feeling the bites of feeding teeth over his body. He understood that his being devoured by threats numbering in hundreds.
It was the unmistakable sensation of being alive while living creatures shredded him.
The emotion of fear left him. Pain can be felt, he can’t understand why he is still alive.
He was eaten alive, he was eaten, his right eye was gouged out. His organs was already consumed, all his skin was peeled off. A hole opened his skull and a tooth sank into his brain.
