I glanced up towards Carson, his eyes began searching me up and down, what he was looking for I have no clue.
"Did he f*****g hurt you Em? Did that asshole touch you?" He asked angrily, and I looked around my driveway anxiously..making sure my dad and uncle weren't anywhere close enough to hear this. I don't think I can handle that added drama..especially with how extra my uncle can be.
I reached out, gripping Carson's arm gently as I spoke calmly.
