I glanced over at my girl, her head dipping from side to side as we drove in complete silence. I couldn't help but smile as she kept trying to fight the sleep that was creeping up on her while she blinked her eyes rapidly and let out a yawn. Fuck..how did I get so damn lucky? Emery was mine..this beautiful woman and all of her gorgeous curves..only..she wasn't mine exactly..not in the ways I wanted her..the ways I desired and craved her. I watched as sleep finally pulled her under and her body leaned towards me naturally as her head rested against my bicep. Sparks and tingles erupted from the contact, causing my stomach to flip and my heart to race.
