DAISY Grabbing the textbooks I needed, I sluggishly shut my locker. It was hard to bring my-brooding-self to head to class. I'd give anything to stay right here all day. But I knew I had to get going. I can't be late for my classes. With a doleful sigh, I unleaned from my locker and started down the quiet hallway. I clutched my books to my chest, taking one step at a time. The morning was bright - sunny and reverberated the sounds of the chirping birds. It was perfect.
