My shaky fingers dropped the menu on the floor but I didn't notice it. I was still in shock.
Logan had mentioned that Victoria was a regular here. I'd kept that piece of information in mind, bracing myself for my next encounter with her. But I never imagined that it would be all of them here, together.
It was impossible to go over and attend to them. My legs won't give in, and my racing heart would rat me out on how disoriented I am on seeing them.
