Wolf’s POV:
I walked Cole to the place where we kept the vamp, something was off, but I wasn’t going to push him, he’d tell me when he was ready.
I gestured for the guard to open the gate, inside was a very agitated and annoyed vamp. I dropped him on the floor of the cell and ordered the guards not to tie him up, expecting this moment.
He rushed towards me, but Cole stepped in front of him. He started beating the vamp, I actually felt sorry for him. When he lost consciousness, I shackled him to the wall.
“Now that you got that out of your system, how was your trip?”
I could see confusion in his eyes as he moved to a corner in the room, he slowly slid down the wall, sitting against it with his head hung.
He was quiet for about 30 seconds before he answered. “It was fine”
