I looked out the window as we moved closer to the forest and away from New York City. I could still feel the warmth of my mom's hug on my skin. I wish she didn't leave me here.
I felt a tear trickle down my cheek and stick on to the glass pane.
"You okay?" Leon asked me. We hadn't spoken since we saw my family off at the airport.
"Yeah, what's wrong with me?"
"I don't know, it's been a long day for you." He said.
"How so?" I asked emotionlessly.
"Well, you got married against your will to a man you barely know and had to break up with a guy you loved and now you are to go to his house after seeing your parents off when all you want is to stay in their arms." Leon said.
I turned to look at him. He was blunt and straight forward.
