We were on our way back to the town when the rain started pouring which made the road quite hard to pass. There are portions of the road that is landslide prone kaya naman dobleng ingat ang pagbiyahe namin.

It took around thirteen hours for us to arrive from its usual eight hours travel. Dumeretso naman agad kami sa penthouse upang magbihis, nabasa kasi kami sa ulan dahil may bahagi ng daan kanina na kinakailngan naming bumaba.

Nagpaalam naman si Tristan na pupunta ng munisipyo dahil may mga bagay siyang kailangang asikasuhin doon kaya naman nag-order na lang ako ng pagkain dahil sa pagod na nararamdaman ko.

"hey dude" tipid kong bati. Dude ang endearment naming magpipinsan

"kumusta ang lakad niyo?" tanong nito

"everything is good. Thank you sa tulong ha pero teka nga sino ba gusto mo kumustahin?" biro ko dito

"how is she?" malungkot na tanong nito

"she's doing great. Gumanda at ang sexy pa lalo, balita ko daming doktor at kilalang tao ang nakapila sa kanya" pagbibiro ko rito

"they won't stand a chance, I can bet my life for that" boung tapang na sabi nito

"paano mo naman yan nasabi? Eh kahapon nga todo asikado yung binatang chief of police nila kay Ari kahapon" pagsisinungaling mo which made him speechless

"by the way, I have something to tell you. Papa organized a secret investigation about Keanne's death and already found a lead. Konti na lang at mabibigyan na ng hustisya si Keanne" pag-iiba nito sa usapan but it gave me hope. I knew it already our entire family wouldn't just sit still

"really? Please keep me posted" hiling ko sa kanya.

"no problem dude . Just be safe, 'kay? And please comeback already, araw-araw na lang may rounds si tita sa office ko asking about you" sabi niya na natatawa

" I have found my new home dude" nangingiti kong turan

"I know. You sound happy just now and I hope you will always be happy. Buti na lang nalaman ko kung nasaan k, si papa muntikan ka ng ipahanap sa agency nina Tito Alex" natatawang sabi nito ng mabanggit ang isang kapatid nina mama na may-ari ng napakalaking security agency sa bansa

"Salamat dude. I'll see you soon" paalam ko and then turned off the phone

Mayamaya ay tumawag ang receptionist dahil nadeliver na umano ang pagkain na inorder ko kanina kaya naman dali-dali akong bumaba.

"hello po, ma'am. Ayan po yung pagkain na dineliver kanina at may isa pa pong ipinapamigay" anito sabay bigay sa akin ng di kalakihang karton

"sige. Maraming salamat"

Pagkabalik ko sa penthouse ay hinanda ko na agad ang aking pagkain. Matutulog na sana ako when I remembered the parcel. Kumuha ako ng kutsilyo and opened it. Isang malakas na sigaw ang nagawa ko when I saw what's inside.

Nanginginig ang kamay ko habang kinukuha at tinitingnan isa-isa ang mga larawan namin ni Tristan sa Sitio Capalbig na may bahid ng dugo at butas na parang galing sa tama ng bala. I took the small envelope which has a letter on it

"it's either him or you that will be dead. He is mine!"

Nabitiwan ko naman ang sulat na iyon and hurriedly went back to my room. I tried calling him but it seemed like he ia busy, I couldn't reach Ari also kaya naman I decided to go inside Tristans room and stayed there. I am shaking right now, who could it possibly be? I took a deep breath in attempt to calm my nerves.

A few minutes later, dumadagundong ang boses ni Tristan sa loob ng penthouse calling my name. I walk towards the door and there he was, puno ng kaba at takot.

"are you okay? May masakit ba sayo? Did somebody came and hurt you? " sunod-sunod na tanong niya habang sinisipat ang mga kamay at katawan ko

"I-m fine..." di ko na matapos ang sasabihin ko when he suddenly hugged me

"thank God you are fine" he said kissing my forehead

He held my hand sabay giya sa akin papuntang salas, I was surprised seeing Helbert followed by some men.

"I want you to look and investigate whose behind this at kung kailangang maparusahan do it" matigas ng sabi

"we're already into it Tristan. My men is gathering cctv footage from the building and its surrounding establishment" wika ng isa sa mga lalaki

"Love, this is Peter a good friend of mine, he owned a security agency na siya ring nagbibigay protection sa akin. Pre, this is Keighlanie" pagpapakilala niya

"Hi Keighlanie, we met years ago at the mansion but I guess you won't remember it. It is my pleasure meeting my friend's beloved " nakangiting sabi nito

"nice meeting you, Peter" I said then stretch out my hand for a handshake

"salamat sa maagap na pagpunta pre" though he is trying to look cool but I could feel how afraid he is right now

"walang anuman pre. We will get to the bottom of this, balik muna kami sa control room to see the footage. My men is waiting for you in the basemenr" he informed then left. Helbert went with them dahil may inutos din sa kanya sa Tristan.

"Pack your things, love" nanghihinang sabi nito

"why? Where are we going?" nagtatakang tanong niya

"Sa bahay ko, no, natin" he said at itinama pa ang naunang sinabi "after what had happened, I will not let you stay alone. Come" he said.

He went with me inside my room and helped me pack my things. Natakot ako noong una but I won't let this pettiness ruin our life.

His men took my things after we are done and true to his words, Peter's men is waiting for us. Apat na kotse ang naka convoy sa amin papuntang bahay ni Tristan.

He is driving his Cadillac at kahit di niya sabihin ramdam ko ang tensyon sa kanya. Ipinatong ko ang aking kamay sa balikat niya saka dumukwang upang bigyan siya ng halik sa pisngi.

"Thank you, love" I whispered

"I won't let anything happen to you"

"I know and don't worry everything will be fine"

"I hope so too"

Ilang minuto pa ay nakarating na kami sa kinaroroonan ng bahay niya. Namangha naman siya when ng makita ang loob nito. His two-storey house nested on top of a hill surrounded with brick and metal fence, it has nine bedrooms and fourteen bathrooms. Tristan brought her to his masters bedroom with walls of glass that opens to an expansive terrace that has exclusive pool and jacuzzi. It has a big closet and bathroom. his terrace allows you to see the incredible infinity pool beside a very beautiful garden. It has two detached house for his servants and the other one is for his men in charge with the security

"You have a massive house, a very comfortable house yet you chose to stay at the penthouse" komento ko

"because it was just a house but now that you are here I can finally call this my home" he said hugging me

"mukhang wala na nga akong kawala sayo" pagbibiro ko

"wala na nga, you are mine forever and mind you this room is sound proof missy" he said placing my luggage towards the closet

"so?..." naguguluhan kong sabi

"so... I want you to be wild and scream my name whenever we make love" casual na sabi nito.

I blushed hearing his word, wala talagang preno ang bunganga nito pero his word sends a different kind of sensation towards my core.
