Chapter Eighteen Bunny Giesen lifted his hard hat and rubbed his close-cropped hair. The gesture did nothing to ease the ache that had begun behind his eyes and was gradually working its way through his head. It was the endless grinding of the excavator that caused it. The same headache every day, starting about two hours before the end of his shift. Ear protectors did nothing for it.
