The ring

In a month, Gina was able to work diligently in the temple. She could not sleep properly and was always ready to take orders from those who were above her. She came to know a lot of things but these were mostly useless to her. First, she did not know when Moon goddess was returning and while she was gone Genesis was in charge of this temple. He was given just one task and that was to protect the Silver wolf but he was not doing anything about this. He let Gina stay here and for him this was what he could do for the task his mother gave to him. Gina could not communicate with her wolf at all and felt stuck. The man was always angry due to being in constant pain. He was in his heart that going to last for few years and this was the reason Xiro wanted her to leave. It was one of these days when Genesis was in good mood and Gina decided to take a chance as she kneeled in front of his Stone bed and asked him for his help. "Why are you still trying to find the murderer? One is gone and you can have another one." He told her who lifted her head rather heartbroken. "He was my mate." "And now he is not." "Please help me." Her voice choked with tears. No matter how much time passed but her heart still ached for her mate. "Let's see what I can do. What if I help you, will you leave his place forever?" "Yes, yes I will." Gina felt she got a little hope. "Even if I wanted to help you, how can you find that murderer?" Genesis watched her with his eyes that resembled like a blue ocean and Gina felt he might was helpful to her. "The murderer had my ring." "Your ring? That's a nice hint. Should I go around looking for your ring? Now leave and bring me ..." "The ring had a blue Gem in Middle. It was a mysterious ring and..." Genesis straightened up as he stared at her while Gina felt strange by the look he gave to her. The next second Genesis was standing in front of her. She was grabbed by her neck and Genesis brought her face closer to him. "That ring was yours." His voice was cold and Gina felt suffocating in his hold. "But you are a woman. How can you be a woman if that ring belonged to you?" He threw her on the floor looking confused and deep in his thoughts while Gina coughed and gasped for air. Genesis sat down near her as he watched her face that became red. "You are not leaving until I solve this mystery." He told her and waved his hand. A bright circle appeared in Gina's neck and she felt the coldness of the choker on her neck unable to understand why he suddenly wanted to keep her here. And since that day, she was stuck there. She could not leave this place. She could not do anything except wait for Moon goddess until one day she found Genesis playing with a ring in his hand. The ring had a blue Gem in the middle with two tiny flowers on the side. The same ring she was born with and the same ring that was lost when her mate was killed. "You,...." Her voice trembled with anger and sadness. "You killed him?" Genesis looked at her and a smirk appeared on his lips. "Yes, I did. I killed him. I took my sword and pierced it though his chest. You should have seen the expressions on his face when I killed him. He could not even see the attack." The voice was mocking her and she made fists to control her anger. Tears rolled down her cheeks seeing how these past days she actually worshipped this man. "Why? Why you killed him? What he did worng with you?" "Because of you. You were the reason he died." Genesis was standing in front of her in a split second making her take a step back rather scared. He did not look like a normal person right now. "There was a man who stole this ring from me. A silver wolf to be precise. He lost in time many hundred years ago but now I got my ring back." Genesis spoke in an emotionless tone as he raised his hand and a sword appeared in his hand. "I killed your mate with this sword because I thought it was him who stole my ring all these years ago. But why is it you? How can a woman have my ring? There is something you are hiding from me and I will find out what that thing is." He squinted his eyes and Gina felt she was under a big rock. She saw him raising his sword and the next second, she lost consciousness. She did not know how long she was unconscious when she woke up, she was on her bed. She was unharmed and there was no one in the room. Gina jumped out of the bed and wanted to get out of the room when Xiro entered the room. He looked at her and then grabbed her hand making her drag with him. He reached near the exist of the temple and looked at the distance. The entrance where Gina entered was one mile away. "You need to leave. If master find out you are awake, he is going to kill you." "But...." "No, but. He is like a hungry beast and he won't stop until you are dead, silver wolf. Forget about the ring and your mate. Just leave this temple." He pushed her towards the exist and Gina looked at him before she turned and left the temple in a hurry. As soon as she disappeared, Xiro turned to find Genesis standing behind him. His eyes went wide while Genesis rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Is she gone?" "Yes, master." Genesis nodded. "Poor her, I feel bad because she is going to die as soon as she left the door of the temple." He then looked at Gina who was running towards the gate from where she entered the temple and she was still wearing the choker. She did not know that the choker was going to be her death as soon as she placed one foot behind that gate. ......
