SELENE'S POV.
The strange woman started to speak and I frowned in confusion when I realized she was talking to the beast. Her voice was soft, and she seems to be speaking in a strange language as well, since I couldn't make out a single word from what she was saying.
What surprised me the most was the fact that this vicious beast seems to understand everything she was saying. Not only did it not try to attack her but it seems to understand the language she spoke.
What in the name of the moon goddess is going on here? What planet have I landed on for goodness sake?
Something she said didn't seem to sit well with the beast as I saw it throw it's head back and roared angrily.
