"Why do all alphas have to be so big and mean anyway?"
I couldn't help myself at that one. I threw my head back and finally let go of the laugh that I'd been holding inside since we started this trip.
I've been sitting in the back of the car with Selene on our way to a hotel where we would be staying for the night, and probably tomorrow night too, until we can leave back to Night Crescent in two days after Derek's swearing-in ceremony.
