I recognized the voice, and Asher's annoyed face showed that he did, too. We turned to the curved stairs to our left down which Captain Renley scurried. His face was red and his manner stiff as he stopped in front of our group.
"This man is being held as one who's likely to commit again," Renley informed Julius as he gestured to Asher.
Julius arched an eyebrow. "How so? Does this man have a criminal record?"
