Remedy

I forced Nico to help me, he told me invited my mate for a beach day today and I thought this would help me to catch my sneaky fox. Nico had no chance but to help me, even with Chris trying to stop me he had no choice. Soon we were waiting on the beach for my little mate, whose name I finally knew from Theo. Nico didn't want to tell me her name but after a few punches received his Beta Theo broke. Perks of being a monster is that people fear you and fear means respect. I just wanted to finally hold her in my arms. I smelled her sweet and refreshing scent immediately while she got closer to us. I also saw Nico's painful expression, jealousy built up in me but I controlled my anger. She was mine. Noelle was mine and no others. I heard her heartbeats fastening and when the wind changed they skipped a beat. I turned around hoping to see a nice girl with dreamy eyes filled with love. But when I turned around what I saw exceeded all my expectations. Noelle was perfect. She was tall but still a lot shorter than I. - She would fit perfectly under our chin.- Shaun barked in my mind. I checked her out from head to toe and I couldn't decide what was that I loved in her the most. Her curly fox-red hair was under a large white hat, her thin but fit figure was adorned with a tiny dark green and gold bikini, on her waist a thin, white beach skirt was tied. All over her gorgeous body, there were tiny freckles like stars on the sky and those lips. They were so kissable like they were calling me to devour them. Our eyes locked and I studied hers. She had a perfectly gold eye apart from a few dark green spots like the freckles on her skin they decorated her enchanting eyes. I couldn't hold back a smile when I looked back into her eyes. There were many other people around us and I felt my eyes getting darker because anyone could see my mate in such a sexy bikini while her body should be only seen by me.  I studied her eyes and searched for the shine which according to the books and stories others told me, must be there if we were destined to be together. I got hurt once, by a woman  I trusted, I won't do the same mistake again.  I heard how some girl gossipped about me and one of them whispered something but I couldn't hear what she was saying exactly. I only felt that she was talking about me. The next second I heard a low growl escaping from Noelle's mouth and the tiny hairs on her beautiful arms stood up. She looked a bit surprised and I felt so much joy in my heart. She was jealous, this was a good sign. I got closer to her and she approached me giggling. There she was, my mate, my second chance. I wanted to caress her but she instead of a careful touch punched me with a right hook. Her strength was incomparable with other females, but it wasn't enough to knock me out. She caught me out of guard and kicked me in my stomach, her kick hurt and woke up the beast in me. Her kick sent me a little further from her and she shifted into her huge fox and ran away. I ran after her, and Chris followed me right in my corner. We got in a crowded street and  I lost her from my sight. I smelled in the air and closed my eyes letting only my other senses find her. I followed her scent but it disappeared and I growled with frustration. 

- What should we do now? - Chris asked and I felt Shaun taking over control. 

-*I think we will need a little more help from his dear cousin. - he said and pushed me into the back of our mind. We rushed back to the beach and this time, Shaun followed Nico's scent which led us to a hotel. 

- She must live here. - I told to Chris and I was about to rush in when he blocked my way. Shau growled at him but Chris didn't move. 

- I think we should wait, she will probably come out soon and then we can catch up with her and you can talk to her. - Chris said and I tried to calm down, there must be an explanation why she attacked me, she might have a painful past. 

- Fine. - I said and we waited on the street while we were waiting I called Cody to help me with my plan to take my mate home. He was super excited but I had no time for his girly chat. I told him all he needed to know about Noelle and in an hour my phone rang, it was Cody again.

- I did it! I can't believe I did it! - I rolled my eyes.

- Jump to the point Cody. 

- Oh, right sorry! So I contacted a few of my old friends back in Greece and they will be waiting at the airport to catch her if they see her. Also one of them lent me his private jet to take you guys back home. - I was impressed by my little brother. He grew up here with his mother and Cody knew many people in many different countries. Penny, before she became our previous Luna, was a really successful businesswoman and she took Cody with her all over the world, which made him grow up with a few great connections. 

- Thank you. - I said and saw Noelle rushing out of the Hotel and getting in a taxi. I elbowed Chris on his side and we both shifted, my legs flew me to the airport and poor Chris fought to catch his breath. we walked into a VIP room reserved for me. Cody even arranged a bouquet of flowers and sent me a text. "Good luck!"- he didn't know that Noelle was trying to escape from me. I sat down in an armchair and Chris sat by the bar. I ordered a drink and waited. My excitement and nervousness grew minute by minute, when the door finally opened there was her. My sweet, warrior mate, in short white, jeans, black sneakers, and a black T-shirt. I had to take another sip from my drink to calm my nerves and not to jump on her marking her there. When I felt finally collected enough in my mind I leaned closer and smiled at her. Her face didn't show any expression and I said.

- Darling. - the guards went out and closed the door behind them. I leaned back in my chair and motioned on the one next to me.

- Take a seat please. - she glanced around like she had been searching for an exit. I extended my aura and heard a groan from Chris while he showed his neck in submission. But my little fox stood where she was before. I stood up and pushed my Alpha aura on her but she seemed not to be affected at all. When she noticed what I was trying to do she smiled. The next second I felt something elemental, ancient, and stronger than anytime before. Her aura was almost visible and shined around her pretty figure. Shaun fought against it and we managed to keep collected. She stopped and tilted her head like she was looking at me for the first time. I took a  step to her and she took two back. I chuckled and took a step back. She lifted an eyebrow and I said.

- If the mountain does not go to Mohammed, Mohammed goes to the mountain. -a tiny smile appeared in the corner of her mouth.

- What makes you think that you are the mountain? - I loved her challenging tone but it bothered me that the mate bond only pulled me to her and she could keep her distance. 

- You will see. - she shook my head.

- All I will see is how I get away from you. Who do you think you are to kidnap me?! Let me go now! - her voice even when she was going against me was music to my ears and it turned me on imagining her moaning my name. I thought I was lucky to have Dianne as my mate, but Noelle seemed to be finally a worthy opponent. 

- That is where you are wrong, Darling. You are my mate and if you like it or not, you are coming with me. - her eyes opened wide and she hissed between her teeth.

- I'm not your property! - I skipped the distance that separated her from me and I caught her by her waist, pulling Noele against my body.

- Mine!- I growled and her eyes darkened for a second then she pushed me away.

- I'm nobody's! - I smirked and nodded to Chris who approached Noelle.

- We will see that you can come with me in the easy or the difficult way, it is ap to you. - Chris talked to her in a calming voice while he slowly cornered Noelle. 

- Dear girl, I think it is better if you simply come with us. - Noelle shifted and jumped against the door but Chris was my best fighter. He shifted right after her and grabbed Noelle's leg pulling her back. She hissed and growled but Chris caught her. Suddenly Noelle twisted around and bit Chris wolf's nose. He howled in pain and it was time to end the play. I approached them and Chris released Noelle, she licked her bleeding feet but snarled at me. I shifted and threw her against the wall. She whimpered and her pain caused my heart to break, I hated to hurt my own mate but I couldn't let her leave me! She got up and shook her head but her steps became unsure. She collapsed and shifted back into her human form. I did the same and grabbed her from the floor holding her in a bridal pose. I pulled a t-shirt Chris was handing me, over her head, and it covered her perfect body. 

- Are you okay? - I asked my friend and he nodded.

- She isn't a delicate flower Atlas. I think this mate bond will be a curse instead of a miracle. - I glanced at her and she seemed to be simply asleep. I gently blew a piece of her hair out of her face and she smiled.

- I know this won't be easy.- I looked into my friend's eyes.

 -But she is my remedy.
