Chapter 6Friday afternoon, a procession of three vehicles headed for Plano with a total of twelve guys on board. One Volkswagen bus carried seven, Riki drove the ‘Vette with him and Jerry, while Merly and Jacko rode in Merly’s old Ford Falcon with some ice chests in the back. Before they left, Riki had stashed his Stratocaster and its amp in the trunk.
“Just in case,” he told Jerry. “Diamond may be there and maybe that band he was talking about. I think their name was something like The Rebel Mothers.”
