The Meeting
Friday came, and soon, Maddie got the text message she had been waiting for.
'Meet me at The Frog noon.'
"Nathan, I have to go to the city today to meet a new client . Candy is going to babysit for me today. She asked if she could spend time with Austin. "
"That's fine. I can pick him up after work if you're not back. I don't mind."
