Going home The bright light coming through the window shade told me it was morning. I must have fallen asleep and never moved to the recliner chair. Feeling really stiff, I stand up. I'm trying to be as quiet as I can be. "Well, good morning,sleepy head was all I heard . "Turning quickly towards the bed, I realized it was Jacob talking. So I wasn't dreaming. You are awake and talking. Tears welded up in my eyes as I walked over to him. Welcome back, my dear. Welcome back." We talked for a while when the nurse came in. "Jacob, today we are going to replace that piece of skull we removed. I will be back in about 20 minutes to get you ready. It's time to get you healed up and out of here. Sounds wonderful to me.
