Phillip
" Come on, boss, pick up the phone."
Phillip is saying as he paces the floor. This is crazy answer the phone, dam it.
" Would someone just answer the phone!"
"Hello, Nathan's office."
"I need to speak to Nathan. It's important. "
"How can I help you? I am Maddie, Nathan's wife."
"No, just tell him to call Phillip. I will be waiting."
Hanging up the phone, Maddie starts to wonder who Phillip is. Nathan didn't mention any cases involving a person named Phillip. Sometimes, I wonder about him. It almost seems like he has been two different people lately. Even Candy has noticed a difference in him at times.
Nathan walks past Maddies door. He's so heavy in thought that he doesn't notice her walking behind him. Not until she slams his door closed.
