“Hey,” Bianca said softly, and I smiled as I rushed over to her side of the bed. I littered her face with kisses and the result was her smiling and giggling. However, she eventually started coughing and I had to pull back to give her some space.
“Sorry,” I said half-heartedly. Of course, I hadn’t meant to make her cough, but I was glad she had smiled.
“Fine,” she managed to get out between sips of water. Her eyes gazed over at Doctor Sol, and I quickly indicated for him to come closer.
“So, I thought you may want to know what our doc managed to figure out,” I explained and her eyes went wide.
