My heart raced when I approached Jules and Jenna, who were both standing at the surface of the pond. It had been a hot day today, so a relaxed swim had felt very welcome on my end. Lord only knew how much I needed the cold water to relax me, to calm me down, both me and my wolf that is. And probably my non-stop boner that hadn’t been able to go down ever since meeting Jules a small week ago. I had forced myself to stay away from her, and I had succeeded, for three full days, just three simple days, and yet it had felt like an eternity on my end. But I wasn’t going to tell her, how I had been watching her from a distance, just to make sure that she was doing OK and that she has been safe. She would only think of me as a freak. A Goddamn stalker.
