Monk Ming had died two years ago. The stewardship of the temple was left entirely to his son, Master Xu Cein. Daniel moved to sit next to Kim.

"Hey, I don't have parents either."

Kim looked at Daniel beside her, "Are you?"

Daniel nodded and told her all about his life.

"So, we're not much different, right?"

Kim nodded with a smile. They were silent for a moment, looking at each other. Daniel brought her face closer, and Kim froze on the spot. Their faces drew closer.

Daniel kissed Kim's lips gently. The girl didn't fight back. She was confused about what to do, this was her first kiss for her. There was a strange feeling strange in Kim's heart. Warm. As if sharing grief with the boy in front of her.

Daniel hugged Kim's waist tightly and kissed her more intensely. Kim tried to reply. Daniel let Kim enjoy it. It was as if she knew that this was the girl's first time.

An arrow flew swiftly and stuck into the tree trunk behind them. Luckily the arrow shot past Daniel's back. Kim suddenly pushed Daniel.

The thick leaves in front of them moved as if someone was passing by. Kim and Daniel immediately hid behind a tree. Waiting for anything or anyone to appear from the darkness.
