Chapter 5
The next couple of weeks flew by, surprising Chad. He had expected his time on desk duty to drag by, but the addition of Jeff in his life seemed to make everything bearable. They texted throughout the day, had dinner together most nights, and talked about everything. Well, almost everything.
They never mentioned the intimate moment on the couch or the kisses. They also didn’t cross that line again. Hell, they didn’t even get near that line. Jeff hadn’t even attempted to kiss him again, confusing Chad. He was more attracted to Jeff than he had ever been to anyone. He was drawn to him in a way that was almost visceral. He craved Jeff. And that was something he had never experienced in his life.
