Ready To Give In (Red’s POV)
“THEODORE HARRINGTON!”
I looked at the bedroom door. The question was, did I want to go in there?
Gracie had been inconsolable last night and I was sure she didn’t know what was going on herself. What had happened had rocked her to her core. The way Greyson and her interacted…there was a lot of history there. I couldn’t do anything for her other than try to console her, but I knew…I just knew she didn’t want to talk, she just needed strength from me and I tried to give it to her.
But what I didn’t expect were the things Greyson said to Gracie. It was harsh. I couldn’t imagine speaking to Jade or Ash like that.
Was this what Gracie’s life was?
But why?
I couldn’t deny that I understood part of what Grey was saying.
