Dreams
“Wake up sweetheart.”
I snuggled into the heat ignoring the voice.
“Gracie.”
“No” I mumbled.
“Normally I would let you sleep in on the weekend but we have two monsters who are going to come in here and demand we feed them and go out.” Red said leaning down and kissing my cheek.
“Ugh, why did we want them?” I asked turning over and snuggling into the pillow that smelt just like him.
Red chuckled. “I know how they happened but why…well that’s a good question.”
I pulled the blanket over my head. “I can’t function. I need sleep Red; the shoot went longer than I expected and I’m exhausted.
“Fine you sleep in, but don’t say I didn’t warn you.” Red said rubbing my leg. “I’m going to go muster up some breakfast for those monsters.
