High
I opened my eyes.
Red was so close.
My eyes drifted to his lips and back up to his eyes.
I felt him lean in closer.
I felt this excitement flush over me at the thought of getting to kiss Red again.
Just as I was about to get what I should be denying myself the door opened and red pulled away.
“Hello!” A nurse dressed in green scrubs said.
“Hi” I whispered.
I didn’t know what to do with myself. How could I want a man like Red to kiss me. Why did I feel this pull towards him. I wouldn’t deny it to anyone that he was handsome, but I had to keep reminding myself that he was not right person for me.
