Chapter 10 “Come here,” The man instructed Myra. Her heart thumped to her chest as she approached the man on the stage. What was she doing? Myra couldn’t stray apart from the instructions, she was obligated to respect and obey them for some reason she herself couldn’t understand. Myra walked up to the stage and stood in front of the man — who was about to take her life. She didn’t feel anything except for glooming terror wincing in every vein of her body. “What is your name, my darling?” Alexander asked the little woman. The back of his hands touched her cheeks and she flinched. Diverting her eyes to the audience, she noticed the eyes staring back at her, they didn’t contain any sort of pity or fear, only amusement. “Myra,” She replied, hesitantly. “Well, where were you deciding
