ZAVIA I closed my eyes as I let the soothing melody linger in my ears. I was in my element, pushing the keys relentlessly. But I was suddenly stopped by a misstep. I hit the wrong key again; for the third time today. “I’m sorry, Farsa. I seem to be unable to stay focused today.” I glanced at her direction. She was seated on a couch just right beside the white grand piano. Just like the usual practice routines, we were in the drawing room. The huge windows were opened all the way, allowing the cool breeze to cascade into the room. Compared to other days, sky was studded with clouds and the sun is nowhere to be seen. “Oh, you need not to apologize. You had great progress today. A few mistakes won’t hurt.” She reassured. “Still, I could have done better.” I said then stood from my seat.
