"Do another lap, then cool down," I barked at Violet as she ran circles on the open field a few miles away from the mansion. We were still within the compound, although the forest surrounding us made it seem that we were not.
Violet huffed but did as she was told. True to her words, she arrived at all our training promptly and with an iron will. We have been going at it for almost a month now. Still, I decided not to push her too much and limit our sessions to strength and muscle building.
Violet finally finished her lap and stood panting in front of me. She was drenched in sweat, and her scent was distractingly enticing. I swallowed the lump in my throat and tried to talk to her in a neutral tone.
"You did well today. We will go back to the mansion after you cool down. You may begin."
