My wolf, Pitch, was throwing a fit, snarling and growling in my mind nonstop, ever since I had forced myself to walk out of my pawpaw’s cabin and get into my truck to drive up to the pack house for f*****g dinner. My mate was in my damn house, she was human, and she had no idea in the world who I really was as a Beta, what I really was as a wolf.
