Jessica’s P.O.V. While doing the dishes, I found myself daydreaming again. It felt as if a slow-motion movie was playing around in my head over and over again on repeat. A beautiful movie though, of Derek smiling, his lips curling up, his white teeth showing, and his 5 o’clock shadow that made me desperately want to run my hands over them to find out if it would feel prickly or soft. The way his eyes took me in as he looked at me. The intensity of his dark gaze on my skin. God damnit Now I’m having a hot flash, and I’m not even old enough for those to start. all while doing the dishes… I am so ruined! Looking out through the window only made it worse for me, because they gave me a pretty good visual of my mysterious cowboy minus the hat, as he was throwing logs into the fire pit and
