I woke to Erik’s hand on my shoulder. “Come, lass. Ye need to eat.” Gunnr had curled around me, supporting me with his warm weight. I sat up slowly, and thanked Erik when he brought me a piece of meat and tucked the cloak tighter around me. He sat on a rock nearby, watching me eat. When I was done, I fed the wolf the leftover bones. I sank back against him with a sigh. “Now Arne and I are both jealous.” “Why?” “Because Gunnr gets to sleep with ye.” I frowned.
