Jeremy's pov
Jeremy walked back into the pack house to be greated by a very frustrated father
"Jeremy where have you been I have been trying to get a hold of you" his father said you could see the frustration in his face
"Im sorry father I was returning a kitten" Jeremy said kind of embarrassed of the lame but it was mostly the truth, although if it was anyone elses cat he wouldn't have cared but there was just something about the unnamed women that he couldn't get out of his mind.
"A kitten? why would you be doing that there is much more important things to be taking care of, especially explaining to me why you never informed anyone about the wolves coming close to the humans cottage." His father said. His father was very tough on Jeremy and his younger brother, but when it came to women he was always protective; it might have been because of what happened to his mother when he was a kid, but that is a story for another time.
"Yes I am sorry dad I got a bit tied up. Would you like to go to your office to discuss everything there is another matter that I believe we need to look into" Jeremy said moshing twords the stairs.
"Sounds good would you like me to call Carter or would you like this to stay between us?" his father said making his way up.
"No I want this to be between us for now until I find out more" Jeremy said
"Okay lets get started then"
After they get into the office Jeremy locks the door so they don't get any uninvited guests and takes a seat across from his father.
"So shall we begin?" Jeremy's father asked with an expecting look.
"So a few months ago I ran into her, the women who bought the cabin. I thought it was weird because she seemed unaffected by my aura, and then yesterday when I got jumped by a few trouble making wolves from our lovely neighbours, and I was hurt pretty badly" Jeremy said before being cut off by his father
"You got hurt badly by a few wolves I thought you were trined better than that" His father said with a disappointed look.
"Yes but the odd part is they some how got their hands on wolfs bane, that has been illegal for years now" Jeremy said rubbing his face with his hands he didn't realize how tired he was until he sat down.
"They what!" his father said in disbelief
"Yes I know but that isn't the weirdest part. When I was hurt badly I went over to the women's cabin she came out and tried to cover the wound with a towel; and then when she touched me I felt a warm sensation go through my body and when she moved her hand my wound was healed. Im telling you dad I was going to die, but some how she healed me the only thing I can think of is fairy magic" Jeremy said still not believing his own words.
"Fairy? they have been extincted for as long as I can remember how is it possible that she is one?" His father said with the same shocked expression that Jeremy had when she healed him.
"I know it doesn't make much sense to me either dad." Jeremy said hoping that maybe his father would have some answers, but it seems he was just as shocked.
"Wait that still doesn't explain the kitten thing" His father said with an expecting look.
"Well ummm..." Jeremy said scratching the back of his neck "It was the women's kitten"
"The women's kitten, your telling me you went all that way just to bring back a kitten." Jeremy's father asked having a hard time believing that was the only reason. He knew his son and he would not have gone all that way just for a cat, if anything his son hated cats and they felt the same way, you know what they say cats and dogs aren't very found of each other.
"Yeah she really loves that cat" Jeremy said red starting to set into his cheeks
"Son, you hate cats you would not have done that for just anyone, also why do you keep calling her that women do you not know her name even after returning her beloved cat?"
"Well no I didn't quite get her name" Jeremy said with a shy smile. Which was odd because out of everyone Jeremy was never shy.
"Her name is Rae Green" His father said matter of factly, but there was something about her name that left a odd light feeling in Jeremy's stomach he couldn't quite shake the feeling he had to find out more about her.
