2.|| Meeting the triplets again

1723 Words
Camilla’s POV I was staring into a pair of the most angry red eyes I have ever seen in my entire life and the exciting and alluring scent that the triplets emitted grew even stronger when the one sitting beside me leaned into me with his eyes not leaving mine. “I asked a question!” His firm voice made me shake in fear and for a moment I also forgot what I was doing. His fist was clenched and his veins were so visible and I could tell how angry he was just by the way his heart beat rapidly. “Ladies and gentlemen, we will be landing in approximately 10 minutes from now.” The announcement made our heads turn and without thinking I ran as fast as my legs could carry me to the restroom. What was happening to me was unexplainable, I have not been able to sleep in years but the scent from those triplets were like sedatives. Washing my face and panting, I fumbled with my pendant as I mentally scolded myself for letting myself get carried away by them and just when I turned my day couldn’t get any worse, I turned to see them in the restroom with me. The three of them were standing by the door like a towering spruce, their stance enforced the force of their thighs and each step they took towards me together was intimidating. They had an extreme air of dominance and an aura that sought to be obeyed. I've met powerful Alphas and none of them intrigued me like these triplets do. Their movements were swift and yet slow, full of grace and virility, their powerful well-muscled body moved with easy grace as they stopped in front of me. “Did you do this?” The one who sat close to me asked, pointing to his shoulders and I opened my mouth to talk but everything I wanted to say got caught up in my throat and I only swallowed my spit. “You were asked a question and a vocal answer is required.” One of the triplets roared and the effect of his voice made me get engulfed in fear. This is it. This is how I die. Holding my face roughly and tightly, the last one lifted his hand and I closed my eyes in anticipation of what was going to come next. It wasn’t the first time I was being bullied and I knew that it wouldn’t be the last time either. I waited for the sting on my cheek but I felt nothing instead. “You’re so f*****g lucky we’re in a good mood.” The one who’d attempted to slap me said while his brother smirked. The trio turned to leave me alone and I immediately tried to cast a spell on them so that they’d forget whatever happened between us. I wanted to clear their memories but I regretted it almost immediately. “"Oubliette, je veux que vous oubliiez que cela s'est jamais produit.…” I was trying to mutter my words to the end when one of them turned and moved swiftly towards me as he pinned me to the wall. I was caught by so much surprise that I couldn’t finish my spell as the other two brothers turned immediately and their creatures were so scary I almost passed out. They looked like wolves but they weren’t like the usual werewolves I’ve seen. They were muscular and despite being transformed, they still looked like humans and are even more muscular than normal werewolves and that was when it dawned on me. They are Lycans! My entire being shivered and I felt the urgent need to pee, cold chills ran down my spine as I stared at the two brothers who’d already transformed and the one still in his human form holding my neck and pinning me to the wall. His eyes were blazing red and I couldn’t shake off my fear. I have never gotten to meet a Lycan before but I’ve always known that they are a huge threat to witches. Lycans and witches are sworn enemies and being with them spelt out danger for me. “We’ll let you off with a warning,” the one holding me said, his claws were already digging into my skin so deep that I could see my blood on his fingers. “But the next time you do as little as be in the same place that we are, you’re dead.” He finished as he dropped me roughly before leaving me alone in the restroom. My breathing paced and soon started skipping, my head spun and I felt like I was going to die. Trying my best, I decided to do a spell to heal myself when the announcement of the plane landing came. The plane landed safely and I waited until I could no longer perceive the familiar scent before walking out of the plane. I checked into a hotel and, tired, I collapsed on the bed. I tried really hard to forget about the plane incident but I was unable to stop thinking about the Lycan triplet and the unexplainable magnetic pull that I felt towards them. Shrugging the thought off, I settled in and made up my mind to start my hunt for a job as soon as possible because I barely have enough to live on since I spent it all on getting my flight ticket and the hotel. ********* It’s been a week and I still haven’t gotten a job. Frustrated, I fell on the bed, tired, as I thought about ways to pay for my hotel room. I couldn’t close my eyes to take a nap because of the fear of having my usual bad dream so I only thought about how I was going to stay alive for the next three months. My phone chimed, putting a halt to my thoughts and I picked it up to see that it was a notification from the job-hunting site. There’s a job opening as a maid for the Crimson’s family. I’ve heard enough about the Crimsons to know that they’re one of the richest and biggest families in Los Angeles. Hurriedly, I got ready for the job interview and made my way to the address on the website. I needed to get this over with and get a job as soon as I could because staying in the hotel was starting to drain me financially. The cab stopped in front of a mansion and looking around the street, it seemed to be the only biggest building around. It was built like a palace and it was so magnificent that calling it a mansion was an understatement. Gathering all of my courage, I said a silent prayer before making my way into the extremely big and gorgeous building. It was spacious and there were a fleet of cars packed and the building looked like it was made of glass from outside but the interior was completely different. My jaw dropped in awe as I stepped in and it felt like I was in a different world entirely. It was a sight to behold! “How may I help you?” A lady walked towards me with two men and I explained to her that I got a notification from the site that the house needed a maid. “Yes, but you’ll have to wait for the masters, if they like you then you have nothing to worry about.” She smiled as she walked away from me and another man led me to the sitting room where I was supposed to be waiting. Time ticked away quickly and I was starting to become impatient when another of the workers came to announce to me that the masters were on their way and would see me soon. Smiling, I nodded as I went back to being on my phone and that was when I perceived it again. I was starting to feel the same excitement as on the plane and not only that, the scent grew thicker and I felt like I was being choked. Oh no, please No. I had wanted to shrug it off but the footsteps became louder and I lifted my head to see the triplets in the same room I was standing in. “You.” One of them growled and I clutched my bag tightly out of fear and confusion. Why is this happening to me? Why do I have to meet them again? Springing to my feet, I could already feel the tears at the back of my eyes as I stared at them, they were like the bane to my existence. If I knew this was their mansion I wouldn’t even think of being here, I could already tell that I was either going to be carried out of here dead or remain here and they’ll make my life miserable. It was either one of those. Walking backwards slowly, I was scared for my life. They already made a promise to kill me if we ever crossed paths again and as much as I wanted death, I didn’t want it to come from the Lycan triplets. Lycans to me are beasts and every witch to ever live were scared of and hated them and it was vice versa too. Lycans were also scared of witches and they also hated them. “I… I’m.. I’m sorry, I had no idea.” I stuttered, my voice breaking as I quickly turned to flee for my life but I wasn’t fast enough. Three of them had surrounded me, blocking my way and making it impossible for me to escape while I stood there, trapped between their big bodies. “L.. let me go, please.” My voice broke, tears trickling down my eyes as I begged for my freedom, one I’m not exactly sure I’d be getting from them. I’d do anything to get out of here alive. I moved back and lost my footing, making me fall butt down on the hard ground as I looked up at the triplets hovering over me. “Didn’t we warn you about being wherever we are?” One of them asked as he walked towards me, “What are you doing here?”
