When we pulled apart the second time, a light ping sound could be heard and seatbelt sign came on. William looks at me and I took a deep breath, pushing off his lap and falling back into my old seat. I strapped on my seat belt, resisting the urge to raise my fingers to my lips. I could still feel the press of his lips against mine. I could still feel the tingles in my body and I was excited. So excited but at the same time, I was scared. I could feel William’s gaze on me but I refused to look up from my hands. My heart was still beating fast.
