Orion.
"Calm yourself brother." Ares grabs my wrist under his arm, restricting my movements of landing a blow to his abdomen.
"Who says I'm not calm?" I ask, whilst freeing myself from him by tackling him and turning him down to the ground.
Ares chuckles lightly while still on the ground, where as I stand above him. I extend a hand for him to take, which he does before staring at me ineffably.
"If I didn't know any better, I'll say it is more than just meeting with the leaders of the supernatural clan." Ares speaks, whilst taking a weapon from a section close to him.
"Isn't it? Of course its more than that. Our lives lie on it, if they are not willing to join forces with us to take down the common evil." I tell Ares while I also pick a sparing rod from the section.
"That I know of, yet that's not all it is to you." Ares gaze meets mine as he speaks. "The girl is your main concern." He adds, whereas I only stare at him.
"True, she is. Unlike what you and mother do think, she is not the monster you paint her to be, if only you both would have listened from the very beginning, we may not have been put in such a situation." My tone remaining the normal pitch its on while speaking, before I attack Ares in a swift move, but he reacts quickly by dodging it.
"My apologies brother, but need I remind you that she is not Isabella." Ares speaks, as with the mention of Isabella's name, my whole demeanor changes.
"And I never said she was." My tone hard this time around. With my newfound emotions on the rise, I plunge towards Ares again, rising with hits after hits, where as he counters each of them.
"Yet, your reaction says something different." Ares adds, as with every explanation he is trying to give sets me on the edge, and I only release that through hitting harder.
Ares takes me by surprise, when he begins to hit back and soon enough, the rod is out of my hands and Ares has me tackled this time around. "Being on the edge never does you good brother, and you know that." Ares tells me, as his weapon now lies in my neck.
"My apologies for interrupting, but the leaders have arrived." Both I and Ares conversation remains short lived, looking over to one of the students I train.
"I'll be right there Gerald. Thank you." I move Ares away from me instantly, upon hearing that, before Gerald walks away from us. "Well, looks like I'm going to have to take your advice brother." My gaze turns back to Ares, recalling him telling me to be calm. "Would you care to join me, while I speak to them?" I inquire of Ares.
"Of course." Ares nods his head.
"Also, Aurelia's presence would be quite useful there, don't you think?" I question Ares, as with my statement Ares smiles before nodding his head and I leave the room.
----------------
The room emerging with power, as I walk in gazing at each and every of the five clan leaders and their escorts. My gaze shifts from them to the present chief who replaced mother, after she was stripped of her position.
Kane Darwin, a man who has been to war and know what it is to actually tag a situation to be war. A man of great bravery and sensibility of being one to lead such a place.
He sends me a light nod, while I return the gesture back, whereas Aurelia and Ares follow behind me.
"Good afternoon, my apologies for keeping you all waiting." I stand in front of all, at the centre of spacious hall gazing at them all, while they sit on the high chairs.
"And who are you?" My gaze turns to the left, hearing one of the leaders question from the clan of the vampires.
"He is Orion smith, and he is going to be briefing you all as of why you're here." Chief Kane intervenes staring at the clan leader.
"I do not care as of who he is, but what his position is to be addressing us here." King Lucius of the vampire clan speaks again, while my gaze remains inure at him.
"He is my second in command if you wish to know, king Lucius." Chief Kane responds to him once again, while my gaze remains the same at such mentality.
"It doesn't matter who is who Lucius, we're here to discuss an arising matter, so as we can get back to our lives. Not everyone has free time in their hands always." Queen Nadia from the warlocks and witches clan speaks.
The five clans of the supernaturals consist of the Feas, werewolves, vampires, warlocks and witches, and lastly the Bellator luminis. The Feas are known for their ability for persuasion and wealth, the werewolves, for their strength in war just like that of the vampires. The warlocks and witches are known for their strength in magic and spells dealing with the whole creation of the supernaturals, whereas we, the Bellator luminis are a clan for technology and innovations.
Some centuries ago, times when it was impossible for the five clans to be present in the same room without blood being shed, until when the first war arrived which involved the extinction of the supernaturals by an external evil known as, Dumac.
At that time, Dumac was created by a witch who infused dark magic in a baby born from the vampire clan, with the mixture of every clan there is, making him invincible and impossible to find any way to restrain him. Dumac destroyed clans and almost got us into extinction until a certain clan arrived whom matched the powers of Dumac, and was able to defeat him.
The Demon clan, or rather Articius.
Yes, Articus was the savior then who defeated Dumac from making us extinct. At that time, the clans were rounded up to six, with the Demon clan part of the clans, whereas they were placed as the strongest clan, with Articus ruling them.
It was a time, where evil was defeated and all clans lived together as one and interbreed with one another, but little did we know it was all going to be short lived, as Articus invaded clans, by killing anyone that crossed their paths, when power drove them and they saw us as preys.
It is true that when Articus and his clan emerged, we knew they were pure demons but at that time, that wasn't an option, seeing Dumac destroy clans, so an agreement was set and Articus fulfilled his part by destroying Dumac, where as he and his people would be legalised and allowed to live in peace. At that point, it was said the Bellator luminis and the demon clan never fancied each other, as they saw our inventions threatening and we also saw them as a time bomb.
Eventually, we were right when Articus invaded the clans, and when the hurting clans formed a war alliance again, we invaded back at Articus right until the time the prophecy was revealed, and instead of Articus to have retaliated back, he had bigger plans by going after our prophecy for revenge.
"Let's just get this done with, go ahead Orion." Another of the leaders, Queen Felicia of the Feas intervenes, removing the hot stare king Lucius and queen Nadia have on each other.
For the the Bellator luminis, chief Kane represents us, since the discussion has been concluded with the elders. "Thank you." I nod at Queen Felicia before resuming. "It is no longer news that Articus invaded our base and took the chosen hostage, whereas..."
"I am going to cut you short Orion, because it is news to us, as you did not inform us when the chosen was secured, yet, we had to find out when Articus attacked, isn't that so?" My sentence cut off, as king Adrian of the werewolves interrupts.
"That is correct your Highness, but I can tell you that we hadn't been able to properly speak with the chosen before she was taken, not to speak of informing any of the clans." I defend, whereas king Adrian stays silent after that.
"Now that Articus has the chosen, it is only a matter of time before she is wrapped under his spell and taken into his course, and at that, there would be no stopping him." I tell them.
"Even as of now, there is no stopping him." Queen Felicia adds.
"Exactly, which is why if we're able to get the chosen back, we stand a chance against defeating him, having the prophecy directing us what to do." I continue.
"And let me presume you do require our assistance to get this chosen back?" King Adrian inquires.
"Yes we do." I answer.
"And how do you suppose you go about that. We can barely recuperate after Articus attack, how do you think we can help in securing what he would hold most precious to him at such a time?" King Lucius speaks.
"Which is what I am about to explain, king Lucius." I speak making sure his name comes prominent in my lips, practically staying his impatience. "We have been able to acquire the chosen's location, and since that is done, where the clans come in would be on getting there, which is in the demon world." I tell them, as the look on each of their faces tells me how crazy I sound.
"You want us to get into the demon world, may I ask what it is you are thinking? Do you not know the gravity of your words? And even if we were to, do you think we would make it back alive?" Queen Nadia of the warlock clan is one to speak now with blazing density, as the rest all begin with loud murmurs.
"At least let him explain his point, before the conclusion." Chief Kane intervenes.
"I would rather be killed, than go into the demon world." King Lucius speaks out loudly, as distaste fill his words annoyingly.
"You know that wouldn't happen king Lucius. As for a kind like yours, Articus would want more power, so instead of killing you, I bet he would have other plans, like you serving him or skinning you bit by bit." My voice raw, rude but true on king Lucius, as each of the leaders stare at me with the odersity I'm displaying, yet, I can't help but make him realize I do know what I'm saying.
Unlike people in the rest of his clan, whom he demand total submission from them and do not allow anyone express an opinion when they feel it is as at a disrespect to him, I am not going to do that, because we are all in this together, so when Articus strikes, we are all doomed together.
"How dare you!" King Lucius gaze tunes hard on me, as before I can comprehend a thing he is right in front of me with his claws digging into my neck.
F***ing vampires.
