Rushing through the woods with a bag filled with clothes around my neck , my paws thud against the ground .
" Faster Mia !" I hear Heaven - Leigh's distraught voice . Every inch of my body pushes forward , faster and I halt at the sight of her dodging bullets and Mia runs away towards the pack house . My eyes dart up to where Heaven - Leigh was growling at , seeing a man standing with a gun . His eyes lock on me as I shift and he disappears . I grab a pair of shorts out of the bag and put them on before I hear a muffled yell , jumping forward , I grab Heaven - Leigh , wrapping my arm around her waist and place my other hand over her mouth .
