Addison Was A Toxic Girl

Carlos POV

I am Carlos Mendes. I am a graduate, but it's difficult for me to find a job. I didn't go to college because my parents couldn't afford it, so that's why I had to work hard to earn a living.

I work in a small company but the pay in that company is less, I am an unmarried 23 years old boy, I didn't date anyone because I was busy taking care of my mom, and no girl wanted to marry me, because i am not Rich, and I can't afford to buy expensive stuffs like designer clothes or other fashionable stuffs.

There was a girl whom I liked, she rejected me, she said that I cannot give the things she wants, and it would be difficult for her to stay with me. Her friends later on tried to put me down, around my other batchmates, I didn't have many friends.

I needed the money badly for my mother's treatment, she was suffering from cancer.

My neighbour saw my condition, and she knew that I couldn't afford the hospital bills so my neighbour suggested that Mr Nelson, who owns many companies, and is one of the top businessmen in the world, could help me with the money as he does a lot of charity work.

I knew that he was the only person who could help me, and I needed his help, I heard that after his wife's death, he didn't meet anyone, he locked himself in his room for 10 months, and he didn't resume his work. I never saw Mr Nelson's wife.

The next day I went to the address which was given by my friend.

Mr Nelson's guards were not letting me meet him.

After a few seconds Mr Christof ordered his guards to let me in.

I told him that I needed help.

I suggested that I could meet him in the evening, he would talk to me at that time.

I arrived at his place and the maid suggested that I take a seat as it would take some time for Mr Christof to arrive.

I took a seat, the maid offered me a glass of juice, I had the juice and waited for Mr Christof to arrive.

After a few minutes Mr Christof arrived.

I stood at my place and greeted him.

He told me to follow him towards his room, I did as he told me to.

Mr Christof was humble, he didn't ask me anything in front of his maids and guards, he told me to follow him towards his room.

He told me to take a seat on the couch, and he sat in front of me.

I took a seat, he offered to help me back by writing a check in my name.

I was so happy that I could pay my mother's bills.

I thanked Mr Christof for the money, before leaving the room I noticed a portrait of a woman on his wall.

I saw this lady 10 months ago. She was unconscious, I was sailing on my boat, and suddenly I saw that a girl was floating unconscious in the water, I called for help, I knew the tribals very well, because I used to tutor their kids and visit the tribal people often, usually these tribes hurt unknown people, but I was known to them, so they were comfortable around me, I knew their language and I could interact with them.

I asked for their help, they all helped me get the girl on the boat, and we placed her on the shore.

She was badly wounded, and there were scars on her body, the tribals placed her in one of their huts, I waited outside,as the one of the elderly tribal women was attending her, she had the knowledge of different kinds of medicine and she was an expert in healing people, she was attending her inside.

After a few minutes she came out of the tent and she told us that the girl inside the tent was pregnant.

I asked the Elderly woman in her language if the baby was okay.

She told me that the baby was fine but the girl had a deep cut on her head. She has applied the medicine and she will be okay.

I wanted to take the woman to the city hospital but her condition was very delicate. If I tried to take her, she could lose her life, so I had to keep her there near the tribes. I knew that the tribals were not bad, and they would take care of the girl.

The tribals also told me that they knew that girl, because she had once been here, and she saved the kids here.

And they were in debt to her for their kids' lives.

I had to leave that place, because I had to return back to my place.

I visited the girl for 6 months, and after that I never saw her again.

Christof's Mom POV

I liked Addison but she was a liar, she lied to my family, we loved her, trusted her, but what did she do, she betrayed our family.

The marriage was a lie, it was a contract between them, marriage is a beautiful and holy relationship, but she made a contract with my son, how could she be so heartless, when I first saw her, I felt that finally something good has happened in our family, after Christof ex girlfriend leaving him, he was devastated, and depressed, I thought that this girl would bring light to this house and melt his stoned heart, Addison looked innocent and I trusted her, but that women betrayed us, I got to know her true colours after her death, the manager that worked in christof's office told us everything, he told us that their marriage was based on a contract, and Christof married Addison so that he could get the property of his share after his father's death.

Christof didn't tell me about his father's contract, his father had stated in the contract that if Christof didn't get married, he would not get his share of the property which was of 2 billion, including 3 companies.

Christof wanted his share of the property for that. I didn't know that he could fall to this extent that he would get married to any random girl, I was disappointed with my son, he was one of my favourite kids, and I didn't know that he would lie to me.

Anyways, that woman is now dead, she is now not in my son's life. I can marry him to whomever I want, and no one would stop me from doing that.

I would make him married to a girl who was better than Addison, and who is not a liar like her, I know it's a challenging job to convince Christof to marry again, but I will try my best to make him married.

I cannot see my son in this state. He is much worse than before, he didn't left his room for 10 months, and he has not worked for 10 months. Jared handled Christof's job, in his absence he kept an eye on every employee.

I found a list of girls who were a perfect match for Christof, they belonged to good families, they all were good girls and they would take good care of my son, and they would give birth to his next heir, the only thing I need to do now is try and convince Christof to marry one of these girls from my list.

My daughter has stopped listening to me. She adopted that liar Addison's brother, Noel, she adopted him and now she is staying with him. I told her that if she needed a baby I wouldn't adopt one because there were so many orphans.

But she wanted to adopt Addison's brother, I don't know how to make them understand that Addison was a toxic woman.

I am happy that Addison is not in our lives, for what she has done she had to lay for all of that, the only thing I need to do is secure my son's life, I want to see him happy.

Sarah POV

I felt bad for Christof and after that incident my brother is totally heart broken, I tried to console him but it's of no use.

I knew that it was not Addison's mistake, it was brother who forced her to marry him.

I knew my brother very well, I knew that he could go to this extent.

I asked Jared everything.

He told me that Christof had blackmailed Addison that if she didn't marry him, he would have removed her from the job, and he would make sure that Addison didn't get a job in any other place.

Christof was powerful and Rich, he could do anything, nothing was impossible for my brother.

Addison was pregnant, I was going to be an aunt, but because of Nolan, she lost her life.

I blame my brother for her death, Addison would have not died, it's all my brother's fault, his enmity cost Addison's life.

I made my brother understand that if he keep making enemies he would put his family's life at risk, but my brother never listened to me, he did as he liked. I knew that he was also involved in illegal business.

After Addison's death Noel had no one, he was an orphan, and there was no one to take care of him, I liked Noel, he was a sweet little boy, he didn't deserve to stay in an orphanage, he deserved a family and Addison always wished that Noel would have a good life not a life like her full of struggle, I could give Noel a better life.

He would study in the best school, and he would become a businessman just like Christof and my dad.

"Where is Addison?"Noel asked me.

"Sweetheart Addison is gone for some important work along with Christof, she will be back soon", I replied.

"It has been 10 months and Sarah you are telling me the same thing for a very long time", he replied.

"Yes that is because she is very busy Noel, don't worry about her, she is okay", I replied.

"I want to talk to Addison now Sarah, I am missing her so much", he replied.

"I know sweetheart I am missing her too, we all are Missing her, but you need to understand that Addison is busy now, she will not be able to talk to you, if you remain sad will Addison like that, will she be happy?", I asked him.

"No Addison will not be happy, if I am sad, she always told me that no matter how the situation is, we have to have a smile on our face, but Sarah I am missing her so much, I really want to meet her", he replied.

"Don't worry sweetheart, Addison will be back soon, and she will spend a lot of time with you, but please don't be sad darling, I would not like you to be sad", I replied.

Noel gave me a tight hug, and I hugged him back.

It was bedtime so I carried him in my arms and tucked him in bed, just like Addison.

I told him a bedtime story and I waited for him to sleep. Noel was such an innocent boy, no would hate him, but my mom didn't like Noel, I tried to make her understand that it was not Noel's or Addison's mistake but my mom kept on arguing that it was Addison's mistake, she couldn't see that it was actually her son's mistake, he forced Addison to marry him, and now she lost her life because of Christof, if Christof would not make enemies because of his business, Addison would be alive today.

Christof ruined his life, and along with that he was the cause of two deaths.

One was Addison and the other was her baby's, who was innocent.

I will never be able to forgive Christof.
