TOXIC ATTRACTION EPISODE THIRTY EIGHT

Richard did not see that coming. I had never been so upset in my life especially having to find myself in a situation where i was defenseless. Rebekah was kern on tearing Richard and i apart but before we went our separate ways i wanted to know that he would choose me because he married me and because I was expecting his baby. A baby i didn't know if was his but at that point he needed to protect me and my unborn child from his psychopath baby mama. I had never fought a woman over a man before and it was really fighting over a man but i hated the way Rebekah had come to my house and talked to me like i was sone kind of a girl. Rebekah was well built and strong. That explains why she beat me up but i was as sure as hell that i was not going to leave that at that. I hated her already and if Richard chose her, i still wasn't going to go without a fight. Not that i loved Richard but i was not going to let another woman disrespect me in my own house.

Richard: Rebekah, leave before things turn ugly on you right this minute..

Rebekah: I'm not going anywhere Richard, I'm tired of raising our baby on my own. Just so you know, I'm sleeping beside the two of you tonight. I'm not that girl you are going to make babies with when you are busy entertaining low lives who don't know their places. Can you tell her where you have been spending the nights when you are not by her side... And does she know that you can...

Richard: if you don't keep your mouth shut snd get the hell out of here, so help me God, they will collect your body from the very iced part in the mortuary. You don't want to try me.

There was an awkward silence.. I did not understand what was really going on between the two but clearly there was more to whatever was going on. I was in the dark but one thing i knew was that Richard had clearly made his choice when he asked her to leave.

Rebekah: fine, I will go babe but tomorrow, same place.. same time.. we can try for baby number two.

She winked and walked away.. a few neighbors were out and others were peeping from their Windows collection data for their gossip sessions. I was embarrassed beyond words and all I did was get in the house which was filled by smoke from the kitchen. The nice meal i was preparing my husband had burned and there was nothing left of it when i got to the kitchen. I switched off the gas cooker and opened the windows so that smoke could find it's way out. Richard was speechless and truth be told, if he had spoken a word, the pan would have swung to his face..

He helped me fan the smoke and when i was done, i picked the packet of milk, poured it in my glass and went to the bedroom and locked myself in. Richard must have figured out that he was sleeping on the couch and knowing me so well, he knew that there was nothing he was going to say to me that was going to make me calm down so he cooperated and found himself something to eat before he slept on the couch.

Davis was on his bed laying on his back staring at the ceiling when his mind drifted to the conversation he had earlier on with Susan. He was worried that Susan had told Robina about the photos and that's why she cancelled on him. He was looking forward to the date but the photo he had seen was also disturbing. Why would she want to abort her baby?. He thought and there was no clear answer to his questions. He couldn't help but think about how Susan had told her he would loose Robina for good if he asked those sensitive question.. he was happy for a micro second that the fact that Robina wanted to terminate Richard's baby meant that she didn't really love him and couldn't wait to get away from him. He sat up then got his phone and called Robina he didn't care if it was too late. All h wanted was to hear her voice before he slept but before Robina could answer. There was a knock on the door and he got up from the bed with his bare chest some short shorts that he wore when he was just about to sleep. He still had the phone on his ear when he pulled the door open and there stood Julia who flashed her lingerie to him and she looked so sexy and irresponsible. Julia never knew when to stop and despite everything Davis had told her, she still wouldn't stay away. Davis tried to bang the door to her face but she held the door and forced her way in.

Davis: what is this really?.

He asked ending the call that went unreceived...

Julia: come on boy, don't act like you don't know what to do with this.

This time she dropped her tench coat and the sext bra and laced panty looked appealing even when Davis tried fo act like he was not impressed. She catwalk in her lingerie and high heals going towards the bar in Davis' house and she poured both of them a drink.

Davis was baffled and confused. Julia had been his biggest nightmare and he had no idea that their friendship would turn out to be this thing it was. What was really wrong with Julia and why was she acting like she was horny all the time and why was it Davis she chose to quench her thirst.

She handed the glass of wine to Davis and he put it on the table and on his phone he dialed the police hotline and Julia was shocked that Davis was actually calling the cops in her..

Julia: you can't be serious...

Davis: it seems like you don't understand simple language like get out and leave me alone.

Julia: end that call or i swear, i will scream and alert the entire neighborhood that you are trying to r**e me. You calculate how long it will take the police and the Media to get here. I know i tried that before and it failed but this time, all i have to do is tear my panty off me and hit myself hard in the face or break this glass and cut myself and will have to see who will believe a violent man over an innocent woman.

He was in shock. He knew that if Julia did any of the things she said, he would definitely loose his job and his face would be all over the screens for all the wrong reasons. What was everyone going fo think about him?.. if he didn't know Julia too well, he would call it a bluff but Julia tried the screaming before but it failed. This time her plan seemed more strategic.

She smiled as she walked up to Davis and touched his lips and planted a kiss on them. He pushed her away and she the almost lost her balance.

Julia: if i were you.. i would cooperate. All you have to do is make me feel good the way you made her feel.

Davis: what are tou taking about?.

Julia: Robina. Didn't you make her scream in bed. She told me how sweet and blessed you are down there and don't even deny because I've experienced it.. in the back of the car.. remember?..

Davis walked to the living room and sat on the couch and rested his back on it staring at Julia like he would kill her if she didn't didn't stop the madness but Julia did not care and she did not stop the circus.

Diana was at her place but she was terrified. She did not talk to anyone after Blade took her home and even though she believed Mark's story.about Robina, she had alot of questions and especially after seeing the gin on Blade and hearing him take orders from Mark. Was Mark running some sort of a Mafia?

She pulled the blanket over her as she had her cup of coffee a few minutes before she could go to bed. That night she barely ate the pizza that she had ordered for her dinner. Diana was her daddy's girl and Jesse's absence in her life was the one thing that made her spiral and turn her into the woman her mother was not proud of. She wasn't always like that. Diana contrary to the person she was today was calm, hardworking and very brilliant as far as her campus life was concerned. It was only until Jesse's death that she got introduced to alcohol by her crazy friends who went as far as doing weed which Diana had not yet graduated to by she was somehow headed there. When her father died, she didn't find a replacement for the man who loved her and treated her like his little princess. Men played with her feelings, they dated her her for a few days but after learning she needed so much attention, they just left her high and dry. Her friends would last longer with boyfriend's unlike her who by the mention of her father's name men would twitch then after that day they would just ghost her. She was tired of looking for love because even Mark whom she was madly in love with didn't see her as anyone.. she finished her coffee and dragged herself to bed to catch some sleep.

Blade was at the address Mark had given him. He was right outside Nerea's house debating in his mind whether to burst through her door and knock her out or just knock on it and with a gun pointed at her ask her to follow him. Blade had been in Mark's camp for a while but despite owning a gun handed over to him for their protection, he had never taken a life and Mark didn't give him a kill order because he knew too well that he wouldn't be able to pull the trigger on Nerea.

Nerea was not yet asleep.. she was in the kitchen of her new apartment doing some cleaning after she had had her dinner. Robert left Nerea's place just a few minutes before Blade got there.

Nerea was in confusion that was so evident as she would take her time cleaning the same spot smiling to herself like a teenager girl that was in love. She knew so well that her attraction to Robert was so wrong in many ways but he tickled her fancy and she did not want to think about the consequences of taking on this not so newly found romance. Did they even care that their children were married and did Nerea stop to think what her love affair with Robert would result to especially if her children learn about it. Diana was already on the verge of discovering the truth. When she was cheating on Jesse with Robert somehow it could have been excused but what sort of family was this going to turn out to be with parents of Robina and Richard being caught in a love affair?

Blade could not get himself to kidnap Nerea even after he got out of the car and walked to the gate of the apartment. He thought he could easily make his way in but how was he going to leave with Nerea without raising an alarm and especially with the guards very alert by the gate?.

He got in his car and drove home after texting Mark and telling him the plan failed.

Mark smiled and showed the text to Ham as soon as he read the text. He thought as much that Blade would fail the test and on his end he thought that it had something to do with him spending the day watching over Diana. He for some reason wanted him to hook up with Diana but he also needed to teach him a few lessons..lessons that were yet to come and if he wanted to roll with the dangerous boys, he needed to learn how the street operated.

Ham: he is not ready for the kind of business we do bro. He chickened out..

They both laughed.

Mark: you remember the training we first got from my dad?.

Ham: who could forget that, your old man was insane. He took us out in a forest then gave us a chase shooting us with rubber bullets. Whoever got shot the most lost fifty thousand which was like alot of cash man!.

Mark: and we both failed. The lesson was learning to dodge the bullet, both in the operations and in real life. What I'm trying to do with Richards' mum right now is dodging a bullet I've seen coming for a while.

Ham: indulge me.

Mark: Nerea according to my dad was the controller of the Mambo's finances and there is no decision that Jesse did not run by her. My father, Robert and Jesse worked as a team to buy assets in different areas in the country but when Jesse died, everything went away with him.

Ham: what do you mean by went away with him?.

Mark: turns out that the family had alot of debts that made the banks and other lenders collect everything including the properties in my father's name. Then they were declared bankrupt meaning there was no way to recover anything.

Ham: so let me get this straight, why kidnap Nerea, you think there was foul play involved?..

Mark: that's what I want to find out before putting a bullet in her head.. there's more to what meets the eyes. Nerea definitely knows something that everyone else involved didn't know..
