Bella's POV
"This number is strange and not familiar in the slightest," I mutter to myself, staring at my iPhone screen. Did this come from Asher? He is the first person that popped up in my mind. What does he mean by this?
"Does he know that I am human?" I gasped in shock. No, no, I don't think so. He would have said something to me the moment I was there or probably end my life.
"You really have the nerve to sit around in your bedroom," Emily says as soon as she enters, annoyance dripping from her voice. Her sudden presence startles me, and fear shoots through me.
"What do you want, Emily?" I ask with a cold tone, trying to hide my trepidation.
