Zachary's confession sent shivers down my spine, leaving me utterly speechless. I struggled to find the right words to respond to him.
"You mean you used me to try to harm Derek for the second time!" I couldn't help but raise my voice, my anger overflowing and drawing the attention of everyone around us. Zachary quickly tried to downplay the situation, assuring them that everything was fine, so as not to attract unwanted attention.
