Samantha's point of view

My heart reaches and I feel my knees go weak. “Hello,” He says with a smirk on his face as I swallow hard. I bow my head in respect to them.

“This is Samantha Reyes, he is the only daughter of Beta Jason Reyes” Alpha Nathan started the introduction but I was curious to know the man before me.

“Samantha, this is…”

Alpha Nathan wanted to introduce the man but he lifted his hand stopping him as he approached where I was standing

“Hello Little Wolf, Call me Landon,” He said to me as I heard gasp fill the room, he wasn’t the King?

This was his beta.

“Um…Um…” I stuttered unsure of what to say before he turned to look at every one.

“I found a wolf in her house trying to choke her to death, and I believe Alpha Nathan that was your son?” He turned to Alpha Nathan who gasped looking at Austin as he lowered his head.

“I apologise for that it’s just that…”

“Don’t!” Landon cut him short as I swallowed hard wondering what was going to happen now.

“He tried to lay his hands on her despite knowing that she is for our king. He has to pay for that” Landon commanded as I heard growls fill the room and he smiled turning to me.

“I will ask you wolves to stand down if you don’t want a bloodbath in here” Landon stated to Alpha Nathan who lifted his hand and the growls subdued the room as I looked at Austin and then my parents.

“Since it’s only the hand that sinned, I will take that away from him,” Landon said and in a swift move, he was already near Austin.

“No!” I shouted before he could rip off Austin’s hand.

“Please don’t” I pleaded with him and he turned to me as he smirked nodding his head. “Fine. Our Luna has spoken so I will spare you” He said moving away from Austin as I sighed heavily.

“Since we signed the documents, we have everything we need. We will be on our way” He said walking away.

“Why don’t you stay for the rest of the day? Maybe even let Samantha say goodbye to some of her friends?” The Luna was quick to suggest to Landon, his eyes trailed on her then paused as if he was having a conversation with someone.

“Fine. We will let her say goodbye to a few people before we can go.” He said to everyone turning on his heel before Alpha Nathan could utter any word.

“I will wait for you to pack,” He said to me I looked at Austin who was glaring at me and I lowered my head following Landon behind.

“What happened?”

Isabella sighed towards me after we walked out of the packhorse I sighed heavily.

“Nothing. My soon-to-be husband didn’t come but his men came” I explained to her as she sighed heavily holding my hand.

“Really? That’s his Beta?” She asked me as I nonchalantly nodded my head my eyes fixed on Landon who was talking to someone on the phone.

“We can’t stay the night. You need to pack your things and we can leave” he said walking towards me, I gave him an affirmative nod turning to Isabella.

“Pack up, I will meet you up front” I instructed her and she gave me an affirmative nod turning to leave.

“Whoa, where is she going?”

Landon asked making Isabella stop in her tracks as she turned to look at me. Looking confused.

“Well, she’s coming with me. I am sure the Alpha stated to you that I could come with my own…”

“You alpha said nothing about taking two women with us. The agreement was that only you can come with us. She is still part of this pack, we can’t take her with us” He said as I scoffed.

That f*****g i***t played me. I chuckled shaking my head as tears filled my eyes, he played me. I let out a laughing sob shaking my head.

“I am not going anywhere without her,” I said to him and he growled walking towards me his eyes darkening but I wasn’t scared of him.

“I thought I explained myself, we are not taking her. Her need to be let go by her alpha which he didn’t do” he said to me before he could even finish speaking I turned on my heel heading back to the pack house.

Before I could get to the door two of the men stood in front of me. “What the hell?” I asked turning to Landon as he put his hand in the pocket of his jeans.

“I don’t have the time to argue with you. She’s not going anywhere.” He said to me as I turned to look at Isabella, she couldn’t survive here by herself.

“Please… Look at her, you think those bruises just magically appeared on her?” I asked him and he shook his head.

“I just want her. Please” I pleaded with him as he nodded his head. “Fine. This will probably get me in trouble but what the heck?” He said heading back into the house as I swallowed hard watching him walk past me.

“I am only doing this because I hate seeing those helpless eyes,” He said walking back inside as I smiled at Isabella, I turned around following him behind.

“Alpha Nathan?” He asked Estefan who was just walking out of the meeting room and he gestured for him to enter.

“Beta Landon, is anything the matter?” The alpha asked as my father looked up at me, I caught him in the corner of my eye staring at me awhile holding documents as Landon plopped up on the chair leaning back and I stood by the door.

“It may seem there’s something that you forgot to mention to me and our new bride won’t move without that” He started without clearly stating that I wanted Isabella.

My father and the alpha both frowned looking at me as I looked ahead without moving an inch.

‘Sam, do not cause a scene here’ my father mind linked to me but I ignored him letting his words fall on deaf ears

“Okay. What is it?”

The alpha leaned forward as Landon gestured for me to speak and he lowered his head waiting for me to speak.

“Isabella, we agreed she is to come with me but you didn’t mention that to him” I stated the obvious to them and Alpha Nathan smirked leaning back in his chair.

“Well, Isabella can’t go anywhere. She is not one of your people so she can’t, we thought it would be best if you had your title back rather than having…” he wants to speak but I shake my head.

“We had a deal. I agree to this marriage and I get Isabella, I am not going anywhere without her” I stated to them and Landan turned looking up at me.

“Sammy” My father tried to speak to me but I shook my head. He lied to me, he said the alpha was okay with it.

“That’s my deal. I want her with me and I am not taking another step from here” I said and Landon tilted his head waiting for alpha Nathan to say something to me.

“My decision is final. I am sorry Beta Landon, but I think we are wasting time” He said to Landon who stood up looking at me without saying anything.

“If we can’t get the bride then consider this alliance over” Landon stated before walking out of the room as I looked at my father and the alpha waiting for their response.

“How dare you think of…?” Austin wanted to raise his hand after he swiftly moved towards me but the door swung open and Landon turned back and he dropped his hand

“Did you try to hit her?”

Landon asked Austin who looked at me, then at Landon whose eyes were darkening.

“No. No. I wasn’t trying to… Samantha, explain to him...” He said to me as I stood there watching him.

“Isabella?” I asked the alpha without responding to Landon, his eyes move shifted to Austin then back at me.

“Fine. She can go with you. She’s free to do that” He said to me as I sighed heavily looking at Landan and I made my way out of the pack house heading to my room.

‘Bella, you can pack up’ I linked to her as I headed to my room to pack up. “Is your friend worth it?”

Landon asked me after he finally caught up with me as I sighed heavily.

“You never know where you are going... Sometimes you need friends” I said to him heading upstairs with him behind me,

“You can take a sit. This might take some time” I said to him as he sat down on the chair looking around the room.

‘You served?” He asked me pointing to the portrait of me in the army uniform as I nodded my head.

“What happened?” He asked me as I sighed heavily looking at him.

“Nothing. Is there enough space in the car?” I asked him and he gave me an affirmative nod. I started taking out my clothes and throwing them on the bed. “Why don’t you take what you need? You can get whatever you don’t have we can buy” he said to me as I nodded my head.

He kept quiet as I f he was talking to someone. “I will be right back,” He said to me, standing up from the chair and walking out of my room.

I took my time packing up my things and ended up with four large bags, I sighed looking around the room. I was leaving, my pack.

I was dragging my bag out and bumped into something hard. I lifted my gaze my eyes meeting a man who was trolling over me.

“Are you ready?” The man asked me as swallowed hard. Why were these men so hot? I inwardly asked my self-looking at him as I nodded my head.

He took two bags and carried them out, I sighed heavily following him behind. He took everything to the car as I walked to the car, mum and David stood by watching me head out of the pack house

“Are you okay?” David asked me as I nodded my head smiling at him as tears fall from my eyes. ‘Where’s dad?” I asked mum and she smiled coming closer, “You know how he is when it comes to letting go” she tried to convince me holding my hand as I nodded my head without saying anything to her, I knew he just didn’t want to come and see me.

“Call me every time. Let me know what happens and take care of yourself” She insisted.

I pulled her in a tight hug and held on to her before going to hug David. “May the moon Goddess be with you?” She said to me touching her forehead and then mine as tears filled my eyes.

I lifted my gaze and noticed Austin was watching me the entire time.

“I will call you once I am there,” I said to her walking away and getting in the car. Isabella didn’t say anything to David but just got in the car. Was there something between the two of them?

“How long till we reach the borders?” I asked the man who was in the front seat since I couldn’t ride with Landon.

“We are heading to the airstrip.” He said to me as I furrowed my eyebrows looking at him. “What?” I asked him and he turned to look at me.

“It’s the airport” He added.

“I know what an airstrip is. But why are we going to the airstrip>? I thought we were…” I wanted to ask but Isabella held my hand pulling me back.

“The castle is in the North.” He said as he turned the car driving away I rolled down the windows watching how I was suddenly saying goodbye to the only thing close to home.

I sighed heavily closing my eyes briefly since it would take time to get to the airstrip.

After hours of driving and also a flight we finally arrived at the gates leading inside the pack. I sighed heavily as I smiled at Isabella who gave me an assuring squeeze.

I looked out the window of my car and the view just didn’t impress me, everything about this place just spelt creepy but I will have to get used to the fact that this is now my home.

“We are here,” the driver said after he finally pulled over in front of a three-story medieval castle. My mouth fell wide open looking at the castle.

Do they live in a castle?

I inwardly asked myself looking around.

“I kept on wondering when you would show up” A lady’s voice came from the entrance, I looked at her and it is a blonde woman. I can’t see her face but she has a raspy voice.

“Well, I am here. No need to worry” Landon replied kissing her temple as I swallowed ahead waiting for him to introduce me and Isabella.

“IS this the bride?”

She smiled walking towards me as I walked over to her before she could get to me.

“I was hoping to see someone special,” she says with disappointment in her voice. “Avery, please be nice. Could you also show them to their rooms?” Landan asked walking away, the man with a smile I met earlier had suddenly changed.

He wasn’t looking at me or even talking to me. “Where’s he?” He shouted while walking up the stairs leading to the house.

“His in his room” She shouts as she tilts her head to look at me.

“Take her bags upstairs. And this woman? I was told we are only expecting one person?” She queried as Isabella looked at me than the woman.

“She’s my gamma. Also, my friend I am sure that Landon must have…”

“Landon? What do you mean Landon?” She asked me as I frowned pointing to the direction where Landon went into/

“Landan? That’s not Landon my dear. Landon would never go to do such errands” She said with that she turned around leaving me there puzzled.

If that is not Landon, then who is he? I inwardly asked myself.

‘He not Landon? Sam, what the f**k is going on here?’ Bella Linked to me as I shook my head following the woman behind.

Even though outside it was like the medieval time, inside it had modern furniture, from the marble floor to the painting and lighting in the house.

“Avery... Excuse me. If that wasn’t Landan, who was he?” I asked the lady after she opened the door to my room.

“That’s Declan. Landon’s younger brother” She said to me as I turned to look at Isabella.

“Younger brother. Why pretended to be someone else?” I asked her and she chuckled leaving without giving me a chance to ask more questions.

“Hey Gamma! Follow me!”

She shouted for Isabella who followed her behind as I sighed heavily wondering what the f**k was going on here?

I walked into my new room, it was as big as my entire house back home. A king-size bed in the middle of the room with a white sectional chair on the left side of the room.

I sighed heavily walking around and checking the bathroom and closet. I already filled the closet with clothes and shoes with handbags.

I hear a knock on the door and I turn around looking to check who has come into my room. “Hey? Do you like your room?” He asked me as I swallowed hard looking at him, smirking as if this is funny.

“Why would you do that?

Why pretend to be someone you are not?”

I asked him and I could feel Lexa wanted to just go for his throat and kill him but we didn’t stand a chance against him/.

She was furious and honestly I was.

“Well, for security reasons. Wear that dress on the bed. You will be going to meet the King before dinner” he said with that and he turned to leave the room leaving the door open and two ladies walked in the room.

“Who are you?” I asked them and they curtsied before me.

“I am Lily and Ray. We are your two gammas” the blonde said to me as I shook my head, I had someone who will be assisting me. I didn’t need them right now.

“I am sorry. You must be mistaken but I don’t need you…” I wanted to say when I saw the door open again

“It’s not a request. They will be serving you” Declan winked at me before walking away as I swallowed hard looking in his direction. He must be joking.

“I am really fine. You don’t have to do this” I insisted but they just ignored me as I sighed heavily. I was jet lagged and just needed to rest but unfortunately, I will have to make sure that I meet the king who couldn’t even send his second-in-command to pick me up.

I took a shower and the two ladies helped me with my makeup and the light blue shimmering chiffon dress that I was asked to wear.

“Are you ready?” Declan asked me as I nodded my head. “Where’s Isabella? I want her with me” I said to Declan.

“She will be here Don’t worry,” He said to me leading the way out of the bedroom as I followed him behind getting to where he was taking me.

“His in the study. He would like to meet you before you go for dinner” he said to me as I nodded my head,

“Ah! Yes,” I heard moans coming from the room where we were heading towards. Please don’t tell me we are going into that room.

The moans filled the hallway as I looked at Declan. “Sorry he must be busy” he ruled standing back as he leaned against the wall watching me.

“Is that him?” I asked Declan. My throat was dry and I just wanted to turn and leave.

“We can go in,” He said coming off the way and walking towards the door as he held the doorknob. “Isn’t he/…”

I can’t think of what to say.

“Yes. But he said we could go in.” He said pushing the door open I froze not sure if I want to see what was happening.

“Samantha?” Declan peeped narrowing his eyes and looking at me as I swallowed hard nodding my head as I followed him behind.

I walk into the room and my nostrils are hit with swat and sperm. He has a woman who has his table and has put her legs on his shoulders thrusting into her.

He is not wearing any shirt so you can see his muscles, His trousers are on the ground and his butt is naked.

“She’s here” Declan announces to him and he lets out a deep throaty growl as Declan looks at me.

Lexa asks.

The moans continue and this time they are louder while the she-wolf his f*****g screams that she is coming.

“Ah f**k!” He groans as I lower my head, I can feel bile coming up my stomach as I cover my mouth. I feel disgusted at the sight of him being with someone else.

The woman takes her time getting dressed as the man approached me after he finishes getting dressed.

“What’s your name?”

He asks his voice deep and icy sending shivers down my spine. His voice has so much dominance in it.

“Samantha Reyes,” I said lowering my head to avoid talking to him because I can’t take it. I can’t bear to look at him when he was just having s*x with another woman.

“Samantha Reyes? The Daughter to Beta Reyes?” She said as I nodded my head without saying anything and she chuckled nodding her head.

She whispered something to the King and he growled looking at me. “Beta Reyes?” He asked looking at me and then at Declan.

“Interesting” He replied, I pursed my lips together lowering my head. In one swift move, I was pinned against the door his hand on my throat tightening. My feet off the ground

“Listen here. You are nothing more than a breeder to me who will give me the pups that I want. Are we clear?”

He pressed tighter as I nodded my head.

Declan just watched as everything unfolded before us. Lexa whimpers as he chokes me even me

“For every person taken from her. You will bear the pain of carrying my pup. Are we clear” He said pointing to the woman as tears rolled down my cheeks. Who was the woman he was talking about?

She smirked walking towards us as she placed her hand on his shoulders “I think you should let her go babe. She looks too pale” the blonde smiled her upturned eyes showing how satisfied she is with what just happened.

He dropped me to the ground letting go of me as I choked gasping for air.

“Let’s go,” He said to her and they walked out of the room leaving me behind. Declan lowered his gaze as I looked at him tears falling from my eyes.

I don’t know what could be better, whether being Austin’s punching bag or being a Lycan’s breeder.

Oh, moon goddess, have mercy on us. I cried inwardly, massaging my neck. I clenched a fist thinking about what just happened. Was the man that cruel that he would ask me to see him making love to his other woman?

How could all my efforts at wanting to be independent go to waste like this?
