1●7. Kennedy wants to flee to Weston.

I watched the baby drink her bottle, I wanted to hold her, show her I could love her, protect her until she grew up.

I had a real mother, Angela Vegara. When she passed away I was told by a psychic that she would reincarnate into a baby, that I would be her guardian.

I never believed any of that crap, I believe it now. I felt it to my very soul just seeing her for the first time.

It had been a few days since I fed. I was starving.

I asked June if I could partake in Douglas a bit. She shook her head.

" Mine." was all she said.

Douglas smiled and went to the second bedroom with her.

When they were intimate, he would give her his blood and she would take him to ecstacy.

Kennedy was watching my mother, baby Sarah. It was a nice distraction.

Robby called out to Kennedy from his bed.

" I need some help."

" Coming Robby!" She stood up and looked expectantly at me.

I shook my head.

I certainly wasn't going to help Robby go take a dump.

I held baby mother instead. I looked at her sweet face and smiled at her.

" So listen mother, when you died the first time, I was a bit lost. I admit that I went crazy. I got real blue mother.

I saw her eyes light up, she stared at me. I smiled, then she farted on my arm.

" Oh boy, I can't with you right now mother, Jeesh!"

I could see she thought this was hilarious.

" My mother Rena and your father Arlo are traveling north to Iceland, or the Netherlands, I'm not exactly sure, but the thing is, I'm feeling better now. Get naked Starling."

Kennedy shook her head.

" I'm going after them. Rena can't be trusted." She turned to leave me.

I grabbed her wrists as she started to walk away..

" You and my mother were lovers Kennedy, like best friends and engaged even."

She shook her head. "I'm not...well..I'm not gay Robby."

" Aunt K, you are more likely pansexual, as are most lycans.

We enjoy our pleasures with multiple partners and even in the same family.

I mean at first I touched you in your bed, because I was told you were my mate, but now I know Howle is my mate, so f*** off Robby Jackson, you tricked me, you both did.

I heard the baby crying, Aunt K went to her baby sister.

She was right, we did trick her, but I wanted her so very badly.

Roberto was looking at me, he frowned.

" Take the baby Robby." He said as he pulled Kenndy into the kitchen and took her blood from her wrist, trying to reinforce his hold on her memory.

The mesmerizing he placed on her earlier seemed to be cracking somehow.

I heard her moaning and breathing hard. I started to feel jealous until I heard her say,"No, I'm in love with Weston, damn it, take me to my lover now!"

Oh s**t, that's not good. I got up out of my sick bed and went to her, handing the baby back to Rob.

" Aunt K I want to talk to you please, alone." I took her from Rob.

" I know you both have been holding me against my will. I now remember everything.

When Rob took my blood just now, I was flooded with memories. Please don't stop me, I love Weston so much Robby."

" I will take you to him. But, we need to go now, before the others learn what we are doing, come on." I grabbed her hand and took her to the car.

I turned the key, it made a whirring noise but would not start.

She was angry.

" Damn, this old car! My daddy told me it was reliable. What do we do now?" She asked me.

" I guess we call a cab."

I dialed Rob instead.

" Yes my aunt and I need a cab as soon as possible." I said loudly from outside.

" Your kidding? Well when do you expect the road to reopen?" I pretended.

Rob had disconnected the Subaru's starter earlier, anticipating her every move.

She sat down with her head in her hands. " I'm so sick about all of this, it's one thing after another!"

" Well, June wants you to help with the baby anyway. Weston will find you if we stay put, he is a vampire." I said.

" Oh Robby, I guess that's true...hold me please."

I put my arm around her and kissed her head.

June peeked out from her room.

" Kennedy can you bring the baby in, Dougy and I are ready for bed now?"

Kennedy nodded, distracted now.

" Can I bath her?" She asked wiping her eyes.

I mouthed, Thank you, to June.

She winked at me.

Rob came out of the kitchen and handed me a beer.

" That was excellent thinking there Robby, good job."

I clicked my beer with his, we were getting chummy over this exhausting Kennedy saga.

About thirty minutes later June joined us.

" We need to go soon. Howle has informed me that a man name Jason Trent is gunning for your dead body, Vega Rob.

He is working for Weston now. Did you kill two of his men?"

He nodded. "I was under the impression they worked for the casino mob boss. I don't understand."

" Roberto, you are the direct decendant of the Starling castle heir on the paternal and maternal sides.

Your ancestor King Henry Moore killed his daughter in law, Melody Starling because she was of the witches coven, even though he himself had a torrid love affair with Melody's cousin, Sara Starling.

Their son's name was Roberto Vegara. You are royal blood Rob, you need to get out of here so they don't find you and kill you before you claim your reign as the king of both the Moore coven and the Starling coven.

We were all very shocked by all of this.

We made plans to head to Death Valley and hide out in the dessert home of Kennedy's Wiccan friend Babette Young as she had previously planned.

I decided we should take watch tonight, it was up to me to protect the clan now.

Kennedy was in bed with June and Douglas. Aunt K insisted on helping with the baby tonight for her feedings.

I would take first watch.

The hotel was quiet, we are all on high alert.

My head was splitting in two, my heart was beating fast.

I was about free of my bonds, almost completely loose of the tight metal cuffs, when I heard someone coming.

I lay my head to the side and played dead.

" I'm getting you the fu** out of here. Quit pretending you are dead, I know you too well Moore."

To my utter shock, Orcas Howle planted a big wet kiss on my parched lips.

He whispered,"That's from my bat s**t crazy wife, I am glad you are alive Lucas, let's go."
