My father believed that I bit the neck of my love, I know he will let her out, very soon.
I must convince him to put her in the cell with Howle. I want her to warn him.
I have a few ideas about his defense, but I need Kennedy to play her part.
I walked into my father's office.
" Sir, I think if Howle knows that his wife has been won by our coven, he will soon crack.
Let's send his little wife into his cage for tonight, perhaps she can send him over the edge?"
My father smiled. He put his hand on my shoulder.
" Let's do that, I like it. Rub it into his face. I can't believe you of all people have come up with this idea, you passive sissy." He laughed then.
He truly believed I gave a damn if he thought I was a sissy before, I did not.
Because I had supposedly turned Kennedy, she would be my submissive.
I went to the cell with father's key. I told Kennedy to come with me.
Rena showed her canines. I winked at her.
She frowned, then nodded, understanding I was here for Kennedy, not at my father's behest.
Kennedy was quiet. She kept her head down, playing submissive to me.
" I am taking you to him, do not smile or make a sound."
I handed her, her key. Howle had pressed it into my hand before he turned himself in.
I opened his cell door quietly and pushed Kennedy inside.
" Kennedy." He said seeing his wife.
He waited in the corner. I stared him into silence.
I relocked his cell as Kennedy was inside with him, I then stood guard, my back was turned to them.
" 10 minutes, no more." I told them.

Kennedy
" I missed you Ken, real bad. I'm sorry you had to see what you saw. Do you hate me?" He asked me, looking anguished.
I had tears in my eyes.
" Never my love. I understand all of it now. Everything. I wish you would have let me take the fall for you.
I am young, a jury might consider my mental health." I ran to him and kissed him then.
He held me very tight. He saw the two puncture marks on my neck.
" How can this be?" He cried.. "You are the same, unless...you came to kill me now." he looked at Lucas, feeling betrayed.
Howle exposed his neck to me, to finish him off, without a second thought.
" Do it quickly. I can't bear the thought of losing you to the Moore coven, like June bug was."
Howle was surprised when I kissed his neck and whispered, "No, he didn't do it, Luke made the wounds with his sharp finger nail.
I'm not a vampire, but his daddy, the detective wants me to torture you with the knowledge that I am of the Moore coven now.
Play along my love until we can get you out of here."
I felt him touch me, he held my waist. "I love you Kennedy Starling. I want you to know that, I don't think I ever told you before."
His eyes were soft, he looked at me with a yearning desire, I could see and feel his love as his heart beat in rhythm with my own.
" I will get you out Howle. Luke believes his daddy will release me now that I'm Luke's submissive, he's a misogynistic pig by the way." I told him.
He kissed my shoulder, then my arm, placing light kisses down to my knuckles.
" Rena is in my cell, she's on my side now." I hoped.
Howle pulled me tight to his chest. " Kiss me goodbye then. Let me look at you one last time."
I watched as his lips lowered over mine. It was the best kiss we had ever shared in our whole life.
We would talk about it years later. It was true loves kiss. My heart was bonded to his.
" Howle, I love you and I'm sorry I shot you. I didn't know, I'm so sorry love." I was trying not to cry.
" I know, I will never keep anything from you again, but I told you I was faithful to only you my sweet little bird. What happened to your hair?" He touched a strand.
" Lucas Moore, he took part of me and gave me part of himself. We have a very special love he and I, please don't get jealous my love.
He stole my stutter, I was glad about that, oh and my scar."
" You look beautiful dear. I like you however you look. Promise me that you will not forget me?
I want you to go home with Lucas, he will care for you while I'm away, let him love you Ken," he said in whisper.
I didn't understand all of this, but I was in love with Luke as well as my husband.
I would find out later that they both had arranged things just between them.
I would learn that my husband and my future husband were aware of my love for each of them and allowed me to love them both.
Luke called to me then," Do it now kid."
I looked at Howle, my eyes soft, full of love.
" I have to attack you now. Please don't get all excited."
He smiled. " I'm ready."
I slapped him in the face and clawed at his chest.
" My God you are beautiful when you hate me." He said holding my wrists.
" You must call for the guards now. Goodbye my love." I said.
" Until we next meet, I love you my sweet wife." He said to me then cried out.
" Guards! Guards! Get her out of here, she's a damn fang sucker! Guards hurry!"
The guards ran past Lucas and grabbed me, I was hissing.
Lucas turned to Howle.
" Tomorrow, noon...be ready, your lawyer will arrive then."
Howle nodded." Take care of her, Lucas. Love her when I cannot, promise me."
Lucas smiled,"No need to ask."
" I owe you man." Howle responded.

Kennedy
They took me back to the cell with Rena.
She had beautiful chocolate brown eyes.
She moved over and motioned for me to sit with her so we could talk quietly.
Oh s**t, was she flirting with me?
I nodded and swallowed.
" Come... lay with me." She took me into her cot with her.
" Did you see Orcas?" She asked quietly as she stroked my hair.
Rena put her hand on my stomach. I felt moist heat rush between my legs at her touch.
" Let me lay with you a while, it will be warmer for us." She closed her eyes as she pulled me towards her.
I kneed her in the groin on accident as I moved on my side.
" Ouch, f**k!" She said in a hushed tone.
The guard saw us together and watched us.
I impulsively kissed Rena the same way I saw the viper kiss her at the bar.
Lucas had instructed me on how to act as a new vampire would.
The guard smiled and nodded and went to report this to his boss, Detective Moore. They knew as a new vampire I would be very amorous.
Rena pulled her hips to mine and kissed me back with her tongue. She tasted like the smoothest honey.
I put my hands in her hair and held her mouth to mine, watching for the guard out of the corner of my eye.
" I think he bought it." I said.
Damn Rena was smoking hot.
I couldn't help but moan as she grabbed my butt.
She went past the line when she continued to kiss me and slid two of her fingers into the waist band of my pants.

I couldn't speak. I just made out with Howle's sister and I wanted more.
" Rena, I have never kissed a girl before."
She licked my bottom lip.
" Could have fooled me sweetheart."
I nodded and instinctively melted in her arms, she smelled so good.
Rena responded by running her fingers up my blouse.
I opened my eyes to see Luke watching us, his mouth hung open. He smiled widely.
" Oh, no don't you dare stop on my account." He said.
I was so embarrased.
