The Abused Mate

Chapter four, hell then rescused

Trish's P.O.V 

  This morning I took my time getting up and getting ready to go downstairs to cook breakfast, as I wasn't sure if the Alpha remembered anything or if he was still sleeping. I tiptoed downstairs into the kitchen and pulled out a couple of pans to get the breakfast started. I pulled out eggs, bacon, grits, butter, cheese and chopped ham, I was going to make everyone omelettes with grits in bacon. I heard the office door open and heard the Alpha groan, he walked into the kitchen holding his head and looked around.

  "Coffee and lots of it." Alpha Keith commanded me and I nodded, looked away from him and smirked. I made him coffee, handed it to him and he drank the first cup down straight away. I handed him another cup just as the others started to come down the stairs, but he didn't drink it. He placed the cup down in front of him and took his seat at the head of the table, folding his arms in front of him like a school kid.

  "Where the hell is my f*****g breakfast?" Alpha Keith snarled, looking around the room. I sighed and turned to cook him an omelette, I placed grits and bacon on the side and placed the plate in front of him. 

  "Cut my f*****g food up, do I have to do it myself?" Alpha Keith growled and the whole pack was silent, like they were scared to say anything when he was here. I cut his food up and once again placed the plate in front of him, but he turned angry and threw the plate at me, breaking it when it hit the floor.

  "EVERYONE OUT RIGHT THE f**k NOW!!" Alpha Keith commanded angrily and they all got up and ran in different directions. 

  "Did I say I wanted that for breakfast?" Alpha Keith asked me, getting up from his chair and picking up the coffee pot. He skulked towards me and then threw the hot coffee in my face, scolding me. I immediately reached for my face screaming, as it felt like there were little bubbles forming and bursting all over my face. He picked up the pot full of steaming hot grits and poured it on me.

  "AHHHHH! STOP! PLEASE! STOP!" I screamed, dropping down to my knees, crying and begging him to stop, but he just smirked at me, kicked me hard in the stomach and tossed me into the hallway.

  "You stupid cow! Who's going to want a burnt up, abused and used up mate like you. You stupid b***h. You think you're cute, you're not! You're ugly, you're stupid and no one wants you. Now get your ass up, go wash yourself and get your f*****g ass to school." Alpha Keith said, his words holding so much venom and hatred. I tried getting up just as he swung his leg and kicked me in the ribs, knocking me back down to the floor.

  "AHHHH!" I screamed out in pain, just as Wendy came into the kitchen, smirking when she saw me in pain.

  "That's what you get b***h. you killed your parents and you deserve it." Wendy said, she turned to look at the Alpha. 

  "Kick her ass baby." Wendy said, planting a kiss on the Alpha's cheek. I looked to the Alpha, then to Wendy and then I realised it, they were mates. I got up on my knees to crawl towards stairs and I got kicked again. she screamed in pain, 

  "I DIDN'T KILL MY PARENTS! I SWEAR I DIDN'T! PLEASE STOP KICKING ME AND LET ME GO! IF YOU DON'T WANT ME HERE THEN JUST LET ME GO!" I screamed out, but Wendy and the Alpha just laughed at me and Wendy walked forward, bending down to face me.

  "Sweetheart the day we let you go is the day you die just like them." Wendy said, spitting in my face and punching me, breaking my nose.

 "Get your ass in your room, you're not going to school." Wendy snapped, grabbing a handful of my hair, dragging me up the stairs and throwing me into my room. 

  "Clean your f*****g ass up, you have cooking to do tonight." Wendy said, smirking and looking me up and down.

  "I think you will be of some use, I'll sell you to the king, I'm sure he can have some fun with you." Wendy laughed, turning to leave my room. I was savage and before she got to the door, I jumped on her back making her fall face first on the ground.

  "How....does….it....feel….huh?" I said, in between kicking her, breaking several of her ribs and her nose. I grabbed her by the hair, dragged her kicking and screaming out of my room and threw her down the stairs. The fall broke her neck and instantly killed her. Alpha Keith came running out of his office, screaming at the sight of his mate, lying dead at the bottom of the stairs.

  "YOU STUPID b***h!" Alpha Keith screamed, looking up at me.

  "She said she was going to f*****g sell me. I hate you and this f*****g pack. You evil bastard." I snarled, glaring at him. Alpha Keith growled at me, stepping over the body of his dead mate and running at me. I tried to run, but he grabbed me by the neck and pinned me against the wall, tightly gripping my throat.

  "Since you killed my mate, you will be my new mate." Alpha Keith snarled, pulling me away from the wall and slamming me back into it. He extended his nails into claws and ripped my clothes off, I screamed and begged, but he just punched me in the face.

  "You….killed....my….fucking….mate!" Alpha Keith spat, repeatedly punching me. I tried my best to stay awake and get a message to David.

  "David, if you're truly real, then please help me. I need your help fast. Please I'm begging you." I thought, trying my hardest to reach him with my mind and the next thing I knew Alpha Keith had punched me again, making me slightly lose consciousness. I felt him getting on top of me and pushing himself into me, but I was too dazed to do anything and I passed out. I felt cool air, brushing past my face and body, I briefly opened my eyes and saw that someone was running with me in their arms and yelling.

  "Get her to the castle, the doctor is waiting for her." The voice said and I lost consciousness again. 

  I woke up and looked up at the ceiling, I was in a comfortable bed with fluffy pillows, but I didn't recognise anything in this room, where the hell am I? I heard machines beeping and I felt something sticking in my arm, I tried to sit up.

  "Sweetheart you need to lay back down, you're hurt and you still have burns on your arms and chest." A woman's voice said, making me flinch. I looked around, but didn't see anyone at first and then a woman suddenly stepped forward, appearing out of nowhere. 

  "Don't be scared honey, I'm David's mother. I know your mates and he heard your call last night. David, his father and a few of our coven warriors rushed to help you. The Alpha is dead and a new pack is going to teach those heathens how to behave." The woman said, smiling at me and gently placing her hand on my shoulder. I laid back down, but I was so sore, I saw the bandages on my chest and arms.  

  "Can I ask where David is?" I asked her, trying to turn my head to face the woman.

  "Of course, I made him go to school, just because he has a mate doesn't change a thing, he is still going to school. I told him I would sit with you and when he gets home he will be by your side. When you get better, you will be going back to school as well." The woman said, smiling at me and I couldn't help thinking that she sounded like a true mother. The doctor walked in the room and the woman smiled at him.

   "Oh your up, let's check on those burns." The doctor said, cutting the bandages off of my arms and chest. The burns were almost gone.

  "Your face is completely healed, thanks to your wolf, may I say she is very kind." The doctor said and I looked at him, confused.

  "Oh I'm sorry, she came forward while you were out, she explained to us what had been going on and what was done to you…." The doctor said and David's mother joined in.

  "And may I say, If you ever cut yourself again, child you will be punished by a mother's wrath, you will be loved and cared for here, there is no need to self harm yourself now." David's mother said and all I could do was nod my head.

  "You must be tired from everything that has happened, try and lie back and get some sleep. I promise David will be here after class." David's mother continued and I nodded, laying back down and closing my eyes. David's mother was right, I was tired and fell asleep straight away. I didn't know how long I was asleep for, but when I felt someone holding my hand I blinked a couple of times and opened my eyes, turning to see David, smiling brightly at me. 

  "How long was I asleep?" I asked, rubbing my eyes, with my free hand.

  "For a couple of days." David chuckled, making my eyes go wide with shock.

  "What?" I exclaimed, but David just laughed and shook his head.

  "No, I was joking. You've been asleep for awhile, it's six pm. The doctor said when you wake up you can come home with us." David said, making me softly laugh at his joke. I noticed that the iv was out of my arm and a bandaid was now in its place. 

  "I brought you some clothes. It's not much, but we can go shopping later if you want." David said, handing me the bag of clothes, I took them and put the sweat pants and sweat shirt on. 

  "I don't have any money to go shopping." I said, slightly embarrassed.he shrugged

  "So, I do. I'm not saying you have to buy the whole mall." David shrugged and softly laughed. I nodded and we began to walk out of the hospital. We walked up the driveway to his home and I stopped dead in my tracks, shocked.

  "You weren't kidding when you said you lived in a castle." I gasped, looking at the huge building in front of me. 

  "Well my father is just like the Alpha king, they both live in castles. My father is King over the vampires and the Alpha King is over the werewolves. He already knows what we did to Alpha Keith, he was kept informed." David replied, I nodded, as we walked up the two flights of stairs to his room. 

  "Do you want to watch TV? It's still early." David asked, opening his bedroom door. 

  "Yes." I replied and David walked over to the closet, pulling out one of his shirts.

  "Here, wear this. It's long and will cover your body." David said, handing me the shirt I would be sleeping in. I looked around his room and saw a door, I opened it to find the bathroom.

  "Wow." I said out loud to myself, this bathroom was massive. There were two showers, a huge bathtub and two sinks, one for him and one for me. There were all kinds of women's body washes, shampoo, conditioner, a scrubby and a back washer.

  "You thought of everything." I said, smiling at David and he nodded. I went inside, shutting the door behind me and changed, brushed my teeth and hair, did my business and walked out of the bathroom to find David lying on the bed, flipping through channels. I walked over to the king size bed and sat down, the blankets were so soft and the pillows were big and comfortable. David put his arm around my shoulder and I leaned into him,  feeling my whole body immediately relax.

  "So, what do you want to watch?" David asked.

  "I'm not sure, I wasn't allowed to watch TV when I was in the orange moon pack." I replied, fidgeting with the hem of my shirt. David gave me a confused look.

  "Flip through the channels then stop on whatever catches your eye." David replied, handing me the remote. I nodded and started flipping through them, something called Wall-E caught my eye, so I stopped and started watching it. 

  David's P.O.V 

  All the time the movie was on I couldn't help but glance at my beautiful mate, she was perfect in every way. I looked over at her again and saw that she had fallen asleep before the movie had even finished. 

  "Sleep my love, you are safe, loved and adored by many now. We will get to know each other more tomorrow." I whispered, stroking her cheek. I took the remote from her hand and turned the TV off, putting the remote on the nightstand. I watched her for a while, admiring her beauty and memorizing every detail of her face, all the time wondering how I was going to tell her that I am part werewolf, part vampire. How am I going to tell her that soon she will become like me? I refuse to hide anything from her, we will have to talk about it tomorrow.
