Mayam stood with her arms crossed staring up at Dan, leaving Sue wondering if she’d mimicked the gesture in her uncle when she was growing up. The three behind Mayam shifted their feet and glanced nervously at each other.
Martinez spoke up from beside Sue.
“We don’t have the capacity or crew to handle anything like this in Maintenance, much less riots or a bunch of people locked up. Just me being offline right now is going to play hell with our schedules. Especially in the emergency situation you created. You get too many of us trapped back here or trying to deal with the trouble the corrupted update has caused, and life support systems won’t have to fail.”
