“Where’s your friend? Have you seen her today?” I asked Mira.
“Oh my goodness! Did you just speak to me? Wow. I never in my life thought you’d speak to me but here we are and yes about my friend, I saw her some minutes ago. Is there a problem and why are you looking for Emily?” She said all in one breath that I wouldn’t have heard what she said if it wasn’t for the fact that I was paying attention to her.
