I prayed in my heart that I arrived just in time and I prayed what I expected wouldn't happen because it wouldn't end well.
We arrived at the cave shortly and two men were standing in front of the cave guarding it. I could smell her from where I stood.
Emily was definitely in there. I didn't need to be told.
"Where is she?" I asked.
"What are you both doing here?" The men named Tyler and Beau asked their fellow kin ignoring my question.
"Where is she?" I asked again.
"The girl you took? Where is she?" One of the men who led Jace and me here asked his fellow kin.
"Who the f**k are they?" One of the men asked back and I quickly attacked him, choking him on his throat.
Jace did not hold back as he attacked the other man, not giving him a chance to retaliate.
